Just give Lloris a new contract, definitely would lose to game if Conte didn't start Hugo today.

Am I the only one who think Hojbjerg has not been very good today (and recently)?

Lloris for me, followed by Royal, a lot of the rest failed their biggest audition tonight.

Shoutout to Kane. Probably won 10 or so free kicks putting in physical effort and holding the ball up while the team was under pressure. He, hugo, Emerson, the first 3 subs all very good. Lucas very good apart from one moment. I’ll go hugo though.

Lloris and Emerson were the best on the pitch. Kane did well.

Worried about Hojbjerg and Skipp. Davies... Horrendous.

Went with Royal over Hugo because of the extra energy he gave after Romero went off. Rest of the team was meh after the first 30 minutes. Can’t believe Lo Celso missed that sitter, and Winks showed why he shouldn’t be in the team with that run and attempt to shoot at the end when all he had to do was take the ball to the corner flag.

Hugo 8.5 - still a world clas keeper, needs that contract.

Royal -9

Dier -5 meh, some good, alot of typical dier tho

Romero -5 stupidly rash tonight, reminds me of a cb version of Lamela except he isn't a master of the dark arts like Erik...yet!

Davies -5.5 see dier only slightly better

Reggie -7

Skipp -5 meh
Holjberg -5 meh

Kane -6
Son - 6
Lucas -6

Winks -7 pretty decent lol- hanging on for another managerial reign

Ndombele-8
Sanchez -8
Locelso -6

I felt that both full-backs did well, though Royal definitely had the best game of his Spurs career so far. Our whole team looked really good for that 1st 30 minutes and then completely lost composure. I don't want to be too harsh given it was Conte's 1st game and he barely had enough time to get them all setup. I will put the blame down to our players fitness. So -10 to the previous coaching regime for leaving Conte with a unfit group of players to work with.

Need to keep Hugo at all costs. I think if we offer him a contract he will stay but if he wants to leave i think even a one year contract he will stay - due to Conte

Hugo MOTM easy

Reminded me of our game vs Newcastle. We came out at break-neck speed and showed great quality tonight, always looking for the forward pass and being really brave with first time touches into players and taking risks that paid off - 3 nil up.

What happened next can be worked upon as disappointing as it was. I'll leave the decision of who needs replaced up to the manager.

Few people being a little harsh on Skipp.

He was good in the first half and would definitely mark him higher than Hojbjerg tonight.

Think we should be certain now that Skipp/Hojbjerg doesn't work. Not good enough under pressure, not progressive enough, and not actually that defensively stable.

Either got to change the formation to more of a 352 to get another player in central midfield or just start Ndombele instead of one of them once the CBs are more used to the new shape/signings are made.
