Palacios 7 - incisive passing and defending, sometimes also wayward

Defoe 7 - worked back hard as well as the goal

Great all round.

I'm gonna give BAE a 10 for sheer entertainment value. Tucking up A***ore and mugging Tevez for 90 minutes. Priceless.

Palacios does have some very dodgey passng moments but 9 times out of 10 he wins it back! Besides which that isn't his job and he is an immense presence in there!

Because of the pressure, and the dissapointment of the last three games, all scores are probably a point higher than if we had say, beaten Hull 3-0 at home.

Gomes 7 - Not alot to do, but did what he had to do well(I feel like I've ben saying this for months now)

Corluka 6 - Ok defensively, but poor in possession
Dawson 8 - Great performance again, lucky to get away with the handball though
Bassong 8 - As above, some great interceptions
Ekotto 8.5 - Brilliant performance from Benny, extra .5 added on for the nutmeg on Adebayor

Lennon 8.5 - Ripped Sylvinho to shreds, quieter in 2nd half
Palacios 7.5 - Did his job well, some poor passing and lucky to only get the booking maybe
Hudd 6.5 - Fairly anonymous, tried shooting too often
Kranjcar 9(MoTM) - Another all-round brilliant performance from Niko, 2nd goal was great

Crouch 7 - Assisted 2, good link up play, but decision making was erratic
Defoe 7.5 - Ran the channels, and took his goal well

Dawson 8.5 MOTM - What a player he's become. Watch out Ledley! LOL.
Bassong 8 - A few clutch tackles late in the game.
BAE 8 - Best defensive game I've seen from him.
Lennon 8 - Was fantastic in the first half. Slowed down a bit latter on.
Hudd 6.5 - Decent. Not fantastic.
Palacios 7 - Work on your passing mate! Shut down DM though as usual.
Kranjcar 8.5 - Had a few shaky moments in the first half, but he got a brace.
Defoe 7 - Things just work better for him without Keane.
Crouch 7 - Most effective I've seen him. Got a little selfish late on.
