I had tickets in the City end and could not believe their arrogance and the manner they dismiss us as shite.. The Kane winner was wonderful and I skipped out of the ground down to the tram and still they were saying we're just a bunch of cockney bastards... Love it COYS

Moss Side scum. They've got the money but no class. All fur coat and no knickers. I LOVE beating them and shutting up all their gobshite fans like the Gallaghers.

Understandable? Nah, it's bollocks. Their whole game plan revolves around keeping their opponents pinned in their own half with no opportunity to keep the ball due to their relentless press. The only way to do this is to keep a ridiculously high line. A ridiculously high line will give Kane and son opportunities to create something over and over again (same happened against Liverpool but we didn't take the chances). Our team is the perfect antidote to this set up. With our forward line we'll win against them as much as they will against us playing like this. Chelsea on the other hand...
I meant it's understandable that they would claim it, I didn't say it was justified.

There was no need to say they can't play like this in other games, it's not relevant.

Man City force the opposition to play a certain way, this is not new and certainly won't be the last time a team uses this template against them. They are used to it.

He didn't offer any insight at all.
‘Need’?

Gossamer thin for me, but ok

Brilliant performance by Kane, absolutely brilliant. Let’s not forget a few players that the boo boys like to hate that also deserve praise:

Dier - marshalled the defence brilliantly and was talking Sess through the game
Davies - calm, and quietly just got on with his job without fuss
Emerson - very good defensively but look awkward at times in the first half when attacking.
PEH - beat their press a fair few times and was always an option - never gave an inch - a warrior tonight.
it may not have been free flowing football but it was a well drilled team that knew what was expected from them.

I flaming love football! I can’t stop smiling ?

The only goal I celebrated was Kane’s disallowed o
Lol I went crazy jumping around the room only to feel a prat.

His winner - I didn’t celebrate as I thought the ball to Kulu may be offside from my initial view - VAR is taking away the initial emotional outburst

Absolutely.. The analogy I draw is like someone from a council house winning the euro millions..

I think this is an unbelievably important win. 3 losses in a row, a media storm brewing and just waiting for us to lose today to further their Conte to walk agenda.

This turns the narrative on its head and the timing is crucial for the rest of our season

City claiming they should have won the game because they had most of the ball and did most of the attacking is understandable but sad. What they need to understand is that, self evidently, our defending was better than their attacking and our attacking was better than their defending, their two goals came from a bad mistake by our keeper and a penalty, they never really broke us down and got through us otherwise.
Very well said

Delighted with the win and performance. For me we deserved the victory. We were lucky with the win at our place, but this wasn't a lucky. We created better chances than City and we overcame VAR
Gonna be so tough at Burnley, not convinced we will win, but have some hope now.

Yeah, not a dig at you mate (I think you're saying the same as I am anyway). I just hate the entitlement of them. It's as though there's only one way to play the game, especially when they're the pricks with all the money. There's a clear counter to what they do and every time it gets exploited they've no-one to blame but themselves (and pep).
