I have a concern that his plate-spinning approach to deals will backfire here.
Its understandable that it would work at juve because they’re the top team in Italy- in the same way it would work at Bayern or psg. The lure of playing for iuve and the likelihood of winning trophies is very high.
But we don’t have the same pull, meaning that whilst we are spinning the plates so are the players /agents and, as is often the case, being used to line up a better deal.
Seems we’ve been overlooked by vlahovic, if there is any truth in the latest rumours about Diaz we could see that go south too.

i give him the pass on young UK players. Any of them that are good enough to play top end Prem minutes are going to cost like 40-50 mil minimum. We cant swing multiple times on those. We have to hope we find the next Dele or someone comes through the academy. Think of how much AWB went for to united. or how much Lamptey is going to cost. insane money. Foden is prob 100mil in this market.

Was happy to give this guy a few transfer windows before judging him but failing to see what he brings to the table. Pretty much every signing has been crap for one reason or another and the most successful is for a CB he had already dealt with at Juve. And laughably created a shit sale for Juve with the option for 14m so Atalanta could make a €30m profit

He’s seemingly failed with all these pre-contract agreements, chased Traore for 6-7 months and not sealed it and don’t seem to have any sort of strategy for this window. I’m sure we’ll be told to wait until after the deadline to judge but to be honest, I have 0 faith in him being able to close anything remotely decent
