Satisfactory? Ahahaha. Give your head a wobble mate.
Hugo's successor
Toby's successor
Two bright young talents in Gil and Sarr (for next year)
New attacking RB, because everybody hates us playing Doherty and Aurier will be off next summer at the latest
Got the "deadwood" in Sissoko, Rose, Foyth, Lamela and Gazzaniga off the books. An ageing Toby has gone and thus frees up further wages.

For Fab and Nuno's first window in a COVID impacted climate and following two tournaments, I'd say it is a far more positive window than people think just because we may not sign one or two more following Emerson.

This painful squad rebuild was never going to be done in one window in this climate especially.

Levy obvs doesn't trust him or nuno, wouldn't be surprised if tensions are running very high right about now!

Agree. Not perfect but very impressive given the job he has on his hands. It is not going to be done in one window, this will take a while. I'm happy - would obviously prefer a striker but we're winning 1-0 every game the whole season anyway.

Obviously we could do better and I agree we need one or two after Emerson, but it's not a car crash of a window or anything like that as some would have you believe. It's a start. That's what it is.

Then why hire them?! If the Goats info is true then that just proves why we constantly trip over when it matters to take steps forward.
Is it arrogance or does he just not trust anyone to do anything?

and a very decent start too.
And I have seen vast differences between Nuno and Jose with the same CBs in place. I see a plan and a foundation being put in place. Patience isn't what most of this fanbase has (I understand why), but Nuno and this squad need us behind them. Whoever is picked to play.

Nuno won't cause any waves publicly if he doesn't get who he asked for or the squad is left short

Not appointing Conte, I wonder why ...... (that's rhetorical btw)

I feel pretty positive about this window. A good handful of young, promising players and, most importantly, the manager has Sanchez, Dele, Dier and Tanganga playing well. I feel a lot better about paying for my Peacock subscription now than I did in July.

Yes and I'm not sure Traore would give us much more than we've already got, for that money. Probably Ings was probably a bigger miss if I wanted to be dissatisfied.

And Son signed a new 4 year contract and Kane did not leave.
And Skipp has successfully been integrated into the first XI after a successful loan at Norwich.

I'm refusing to believe we won't make a couple more additions before the window closes. We still have 3 open spots for Non-HG players ( Emerson takes Sissoko's place ) and should be making at least 2 loan moves for a CM and ST. What's Vinicius up to? I'd even take Coutinho on loan as we're in dire need of an AM who can create and score.

I'm afraid you are in for a big disappointment.

Sentiment aside, football is a business.

If Paratici’s been given a clear budget by the Chairman, he is expected to observe that budget. If he’s operating within the constraint of our budget and Levy is vetoing him, then shame on him.

My guess is we likely haven’t generated the funds needed to get this across the line and Levy won’t stretch his wallet. This isn’t uncharacteristic of a business owner..

So yes with those as well, it is in my mind a very solid window. Would I prefer another senior ST? Sure. But I don't know where we find someone happy to be on the bench every week and is affordable.
