That's. a personal opinion my favourite in last 40 years was BMJ
Don't really get this Poch can / did no wrong attitude He arrived after a complete shit show of managers not same comparison as current Chelsea So thankfully he improved us He did a good job but not always about backing with cash Look at Brentford and Brighton At the time I think Poch was getting his head turned not all about not having the players
To be honest never happy with him playing Kane in final unfit Ruined my trip to Madrid No manager is perfect Hope Ange proves me wrong
Not being mean but seriously try some punctuation it will make your posts much easier to read.

Favourite is of course subjective but I said best, and in terms of results it’s pretty much impossible to argue that isn’t Poch. Nobody has suggested he was or is perfect so don’t know where that came from, but I disagree with your point about cash. Brighton and Brentford still buy players and outperform their financial status, just as Poch did until we turned off recruitment completely. Squads go stale if they aren’t refreshed

This is the thing, he seems to be willing to work with what he has too, rather than needing to be backed as such.

yes, wonder, CF and CB gives us a really solid squad (deadwood aside)… but he seems that he’ll crack on regardless
While at Celtic, Ange brought in relative unknown players from far and wide, we all thought what the hell is this, this will never work with the hammer throwers playing the SPL. Ange has a positive hit rate of around 85% when it came to the transfer market. He has an eye for talent and knows exactly what abilities he needs a player to have for the position he sees him playing. He doesnt spend just for the sake of spending.

He likes players who never stop running, Celtic scored a crazy amount of goals in the last 10 minutes under Ange. He will most likely play with a holding mid and a creative mid and pacey players on the wings, he likes his full backs to get involved going forward. Late runs into the box from the far side winger was a favorite of his also, Liel Abada and Jota scored a crazy amount of goals cutting to the middle.

I said in my last post, he stresses the importance of playing quickly, quick free kicks, throws, corners, dont stand arguing with players/refs, just get on with it. He doesnt care for playing backwards just for the sake of it, everything should be geared towards getting shots on goal.

We now have Brendan Rodgers back and it just highlights how much we are going to miss Ange.

So much for under the radar... :cautious:

And an article today saying Spurs look further along in their development than Man.U 2 games into Ange’s reign lol.

Knees jerking all over the place.

Ange is a breath of fresh air but there will be more ups and downs to come.

At least it’s a bloody fun ride now.

Also…told you everyone says ‘Ange's style of football’ 😉 it’s here to stay.

He finished 8th with Southampton before us. Poch has his flaws, but he is a good manager.
Not taking anything away from that achievement. But for full context, Southampton finished 7th, 6th, 8th the following three seasons under two subsequent managers.

It's too complicated, it's too focused on Pochettino, "whether I'm right or wrong" doesn't make much sense in the context of Postecoglou and "'cos everywhere we go" doesn't scan...

...but for the Christian Gross line alone, I'm in!

Which makes our decision to move away from a Poch-style manager after his departure even more frustrating. The evidence was there.
