I really hope I’m wrong, for all our sakes, but I’ve got a horrible feeling he’s just going to become the newest member of the ‘shafted by Daniel’ club…..if he isn’t already.

One of the most refreshing things about Ange vs. Conte and Poch is that he doesn’t speak in riddles. There’s no BS and he comes across as completely honest without an ego.

And it comes with an Aussie accent so you can’t not love the guy

He also seems to be one step a head and able to read people unlike levy.

I really hope we stick by the guy,

Levy has run out of chances, Ange or bust for me

I mean he already has with this circus and the ridiculous pre season but that's the thing about Ange. He will take it in his stride, face up and find a solution.

The key to success for us is having a manager who is as good at managing Levy as the players and I think Ange could be that person

Don’t get me wrong…I’ve got a good feeling about Ange and I was quite upbeat about this season…..until the last few days…..it’s that other **** I really worry about…….has taken incompetence to levels I didn’t think were possible.

Ange is a fighter and an extremely smart one at that

He doesn't need superstars to make it work, he will get us going.

The part I liked most from Postecoglou today was when he said he and the players can't expect fans to just blindly support them, and fans are entitled to feel any way they feel; rather, he said that he and the players have to earn that support and trust. Very different from Conte.
So refreshing :)

One of the things he'd been saying, which I also need to remember when posting on here, is you can't tell people how to feel. The football will do that.

The more I here Ange speak the more impressed I am, he's handling the kane situation really well.
Clear, concise, mature and respectful, I hope the players buy into his ideology and really want to play for him.

For me, a top 6 finish would be a decent first season when you look at the teams were competing with, along with an attractive style of play.
A decent cup run and win would be the icing on the cake.

He's been extremely impressive so far, definitely seems like a character who can galvanise the club following 2 highly divisive coaches and one shite one. We've also played some really nice stuff in preseason and the turnaround in the quality of the general play and confidence on the ball has been quicker than expected (in these low-pressure matches at least).

Feels like we will surprise one way or the other, but ensuring it's not a bad surprise is going to involve some big transfer movement as we're still one or two injuries away from a calamitous backline that would stop any manager in their tracks, let alone one who wants to play actual attacking football.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

He's great isn't he. Instead of talking in riddles, being miserable and guarded, he's everything you say and forthright plus he controls the narrative in interviews - a bit of gentle mocking when the questions are silly but it feels like he does it in a manner that will generally keep journalists on side.

Great video of him uploaded by Spurs of when he named the captains. He just speaks so well and inspires confidence.

Looking forward to the season!

This season might be a rocky one but I have a good feeling if we get behind Ange and what he is trying to do we're going to have a bright future.

I really don't get how we ended up with Ange as our Head Coach.

He lives and breathes leadership, in complete opposite to the way Levy runs the club.

It's just modern football parlance for every new manager's style ever since it got popularised by Sarri-ball when he came over to Chelsea.

If we'd hired Slot it would've been Slot-ball.
Would've been funny if we'd hired someone with the surname Foot...
