You forgot Cuti!Son is pretty deadly from there and so is Maddison. Kulusevski, Solomon, Porro are all pretty handy long-range shooters as well.
(And Pape's gonna start launching a few missiles on target one of these days)

Another thing we've learnt with the above is that the fanbase are idiots...Agree. But with all the above once the good will starts to run out the fanbase start saying things like 'they are tactically naive' or 'they can't get us over the line', 'we need a winner to get us silverware' etc...etc..

I mean more from a point of view as Son as the CF in the system against park the bus teams. Richy started up top against Brentford. Is there a team that does this better than Brentford? We scored 2 against them and could have scored more with better finishing.
It’s people having an agenda-anti Levy agenda. Even the ITK posters and particularly ‘the Staff’ are so blatantly anti-Levi. Nobody knows what Ange thinks and specifically if he ‘rages’ about the lack of transfer window signings. Some posters have vivid imaginations and like to feel important, so they post stuff that is already out there but with some/a lot of embellishments. When things don’t work out as they hoped/planned they blame it on Levy-nobody else. The strange thing , is they actually think that normal, sane people who actually love and support Spurs, will believe them
Why on earth would you not say the next KingWhilst I agree he should be annoyed, I thought part of the “project” was to use the youth. I know it was a different era but why can’t Dorrington or Phillips be the next Judas - what was the point in buying the latter if we won’t give him minutes
This is it though... I don't personally think he's particularly charismatic at all. He just comes across as a normal, straight talking bloke. No fluff, no moaning, no ego. And because he's not burdened by that, its far easier to get his ideas and positivity across. If you talk to your players like they're human beings, and treat them with the sort of respect you expect back, then they'll be on board with you. Talk to them like they're children, or you're better than them ("are you Dele's brother?", "Same coach, different players"), then expect them to fuck you off.He is very tactically astute, but can communicate it simply with lots of charisma. I think that is incredibly hard to pull off.
After the UTD game Ange was talking to Andros/Keane etc and was just very straight to the point in how he viewed the game. You could see how impressed Keane was as everyone in football likes to complicate what is pretty much mostly a simple game (Arteta and his 434 formations a game)This is it though... I'm by no mean's attempting to disparage him btw, he's a very astute guy, and very inspirational. But he doesn't complicate it with bullshit... just bloody get on with it, mate.
Maybe that's the thing - he stands out amongst all the egos and characters because he's the only 'normal' guy. This is it though... I don't personally think he's particularly charismatic at all. He just comes across as a normal, straight talking bloke. No fluff, no moaning, no ego.

100% mate I said exactly this in the Kane thread about him leaving and some positives even if others couldn't see it at the time. This is one of the reasons I felt Kane going may have been a good thing.
Sometimes leaders need to emerge out of the shadows and Kane, because he was Mr Tottenham, kind of was the go to guy, on and off the pitch.
The other major issue with Kane was that whilst he is totally professional and still is sublime on the pitch, he didnt want to be here and was checked out in terms of where the club's direction was.
I think by the end he was just playing for accolades and he must have been thinking he cant do anymore to get the club where it needs to be and others need to pull their socks up.
I dont know if anyone has joined a work team before or a group of tenants in an apartment but you feel the staleness of things when you are the new guy but when those who have been there a while move on you start to shine a bit.
I blame Levy for some things with Kane but I also believe it is simply just life.
The same old gets stale and others need to come to the fore in order to progress.
Hopefully Ange can prevent things from getting stale and continue to build a team who are Excited to keep going.
He has a perfect balance of healthy ego doesn't he, calm and confident but not arrogant and also humble, probably why he's so likeable especially as he's pretty straight talking and genuine also which most people tend to like, as you say it will also rub off on the others around him in a good way.Very true. I'd say one of Ange's most striking features is his lack of personal ego which also extends to a healthy disregard of ego in those around him. He wasn't at all phased by Kane wanting out for 'bigger and better' things as an example.

Yea so that is called a healthy ego.I'm not sure it's ego as he's quite a humble guy also, I just think it's insane levels of self belief and he's at a stage where his methods have worked everywhere he's been, he backs himself and the process without question.
Aha - snuck in an extra outfielder, so that's how they're doing so well...Arteta and his 434 formations...
No that is how many different formations the carpet headed genius deploys in the average game according to himself.Aha - snuck in an extra outfielder, so that's how they're doing so well...
Well yes, but I couldn't resist the cheap jokeNo that is how many different formations the carpet headed genius deploys in the average game according to himself.
