I loved his response to a question from the BBC interview where the guy said something like, 'James Maddison, he really seems like your kind of player.' Ange replied, 'mate, if they're wearing Tottenham shirts then they're all my sort of player.'

I wanted this guy to be our manager from the get-go, but even I'm surprised at how quickly the club has changed with him at the helm. Long may it last.

Levy and a majority of the fan base tbf. This inconsistent "acting like a big club" strategy we've had has been incredibly draining. I love the positivity around the club and that we seem to going back to methods that we have a history of doing well with, i.e. signing up-and-coming players, not ready-made-stars.

We've still done a fair bit in a short space of time. When you look at the team we have got now, we virtually changed half the starting line-up, the way we play, the way we train, totally new coaching staff and training. It was never going to be one window this rebuild. Where we sit at the moment I'm really happy with the players we've brought in.”
