not sure if you want to call it ITK or not but just got off the phone to my best mate who is best mates with Mass Loungo (I have never met Mass because he's basically lived in England ever since). Mass was a huge part of the Asian cup winning team, he was MVP of the tournament when they beat Son's Korea.

I got him to ask Mass some questions about Ange and he told him this

-'he's a tough ****'
-his football is good and very intense
-the trainings are also very intense
-he's very down to earth and unlike other managers he's not at all deluded, he knows exactly the pros and cons of the football side

some negatives

-Mass said he never knew where he stood under Ange, he said this was good because it kept every single player on their toes but he also acknowledged that it could also be a negative depending on the attitude of the player and has worries that at a club in such a big league it might not be 100% successful.
-Mass also said the biggest challenge for him will be the initial phase which he said we will need to battle through even if the results are poor.

all I have for now, i'll try get some more for you guys

Nice that we can actually move quickly when we want to. After the Slot clusterfuck I think we were all having flashbacks to the debacle that culminated in Nuno somehow being the best choice but here we are making the announcement 2 days after the manager said he'd be willing to think about other options.

Wanted slot but I’ll give him a chance. I hope it works out and will fully support him. Now let’s start the summer clear out

I can't believe I actually jumped out of my seat and fist pumped when the breaking news came up on SSN.

It might go tits but I have to believe he's the one to bring the good times back. When's the first game?

I’m not hard yet but I do feel a semi coming on.

I barely stirred for Conte, I was flaccid for Nuno, and I think my balls actually retracted for Jose. So it’s progress.

Interesting that is says in the club statement that he doesn't join us until 1st July. I'm sure it is just contractual language but I hope that doesn't mean our transfer business won't start until after then

Initially I wasn’t happy with this but more and more I’ve looked into him, read all the reports, seen all the interviews and most of all seeing his football actually looks like fun, I’m more than in on him.

I’m just desperate to enjoy going to matches and enjoy watching us again. It feels so long since going to and watching us has been fun and anything more than a chore.

Hopefully he can get his message across and is most importantly, supported by Levy, I’m really looking forward to the summer to see who he wants and doesn’t want ahead of watching a team who won’t be camped out on their box waiting for one of our players to make a mistake whilst the other team have all the ball.

Four years?
Blimey that seems to show a bit more commitment than everyone thought.
Almost as though it's the beginning of a project.
Reading the official site announcement about his record of developing players and the link with the academy "everything our club is about" pretty well highlights why Conte was never the right fit.
