Was so bloody fun being there today! Football is a release for a lot of us, obviously winning helps but the way in which we win and the belief in a project and a likeable manager all create a much more enjoyable atmosphere which is what it’s all about after a long week at work etc.

Early days and many ups and downs to come but incredible transformation so far.

Many Many individuals looking completely different players.

Lloris - Vicario
Dier - VDV
Perisic - Udogie (Perisic moved up the price)
PEH - Skipp/Sarr
Bentancur - Bissouma (Bentancur injured*)
Maddison
Kulusevski
Son - Solomon
Kane - Richarlison

Not only are we playing the football we want to see, but this is almost a complete change of guard player wise. Out with the old, in with the new. The rebuild has finally begun.

It’s incredible to think that this team played so well after only being together for a preseason. Lots of new faces so things can only get better from here.

For me, the most important aspect that Ange brings (like he who shall not be named before him) is that he focuses on making the individual players the best versions of themselves, and using that to galvanise the team spirit. He's coaching people as well as footballers, and it's no surprise that the lads end up enjoying themselves. That positivity bleeds into the games and performances. And (also like the traitorous fella from before) he'll have little time for those whose attitude and application don't match that.

It's not that difficult a concept to get, and it shows how utterly out of touch and fraudulent Jose and Conte were, especially the latter, whose hair plugs I hope fall out and never take again, the big fake.

So good on ya Ange, keep up the good work licking these lads into shape. Cheers big fella.

Just wrote it in the match thread but I'll put it here too. We tried double inverted full backs in the first half and it wasn't working. They played much wider in the second half and we were much better. Like Brentford last week, we were much better in the second half today. I know it's early doors, but It's really encouraging that he's able to see things and change it and won't blindly/arrogantly stick to a certain way.

Yeah I noticed that. A good decision and it changed the game in our favour.

Get rid of the deadwood and back this man with whatever he needs. A striker and winger are absolute musts with another CB a bonus. If we can get 3 more in (extremely difficult due to numbers), this could be a very positive season. Let's start getting some players out ASAP!

Must admit that the past few seasons I have watched but not really watched our games as there was always an inevitable point where we blew it or just stank.

Was rivetted to the game yesterday and his piece with Sky afterwards left Keane and co speechless really, Jamie was almost love struck.

May I dare mention that a certain elephant in the room has now departed and this may free up some players minds etc.. Ange said they had been planning for this.

At least it looks like the downs this year will be less embarrassing.

In Ange I trust.

He’s just an adult and a realist. Anyone with sense can see how Levy operates, and Ange seems to be pragmatic with what he has in front of him. Very refreshing compared to the toys out the pram approach of others. As he’s the perceived underdog, he sees it as necessary to provide results before getting the full, unwavering co-operation of the board, rightly or wrongly.

A brilliant start. No surprise that a nice guy Manager who likes to play football does well at Tottenham. None of the big name Managers do well at our club.

Don't think we need a CM personally with Bissouma, Sarr and Bentancur fighting it out for 2 spots with Skipp a possibility also.
I can't help but worry that we have nobody like Bissouma to replace him.

I wonder if there is a youngster we could get who we can develop and offer the odd cup game and sub appearance for that role.

Right now it looks like he fully makes us click.

Humans want to move.
Humans want to dance.
Humans want to sing.
Humans want to chant.
It’s all inherent. Our nature.
Only our inhibitions and twisted perspective get in the way of doing this on a daily basis.
Humans are twisted. But Spurs are cool.

This has to be a parody account I swear

Agree, I think a proper goal scorer whether out and out striker or someone with pace who can also score plenty from the wing (think Salah or Son at peak style), for the way Ange plays.

I think CM looks solid. Skipp is better than a lot give him credit for and I think he is behind Sarr, Bissouma, Bentancur and Lo Celso. All offer different qualities, but have the energy to match Ange's style.

The biggest improvement Ange has overseen is how transformed our midfield is.

Do you think Sarr would be the closest we have to him? I reckon it would cost £100m to find someone at his level now. Bentancur, Sarr and Maddison would be the plan if he is injured imo.
