(to the Zamora song)

When your head hits the floor and you're starting to snore
That's Phil Bardsley!

With a jab to the chin, he makes Rooney's head spin
That's Phil Bardsley!

I think top 4 are nailed on this year with Chelsea,City, arse and scouters and us or utd 5th or 6th. I don't think we have a prayer of getting in top 4 this year as we are still to inconsistent and will drop silly points between now and the end of the season. Next season who knows a couple in and a "few out" if anybody will buy them and it could be a different story. But anybody who actually thinks top 4 this year is a reality are living in a dream world........but then we are spurs supporters and we constantly live in a dream world.
Today's game worries me as they are still a team that can score goals when it takes them and they do have some class players and they are still picking up points even when they are not playing that we'll. I have a feeling they will score a few today and we could lose this 2-1 or 3-1. I have already written this season off and looking forward to next season and the future......but don't we every year?

I've written a very similar comment to this earlier in the season so its not that I totally disagree with it. BUT, if we can become consistent between now and the end of the season, starting with a win today, we have a chance. The other 3 will have to play each other so they will drop points. Our biggest obstacle to consistency was the other competitions and tiredness, that shouldn't be a factor anymore. Now I think we should only really fear an injury to Kane or Erikssen.

Anyway, if we can't dream whats the point really? Win today and I bet money you'll get the bug too ;)

I'd like to see us play Mason in a slightly more advanced position with two central midfielders sitting behind him, allowing him a little more freedom to make those excellent runs beyond Kane. It also enables us to be a little more solid when defending, with Mason dropping back to make it a genuine three man midfield.

Lloris

Walker
Dier
Vertonghen
Rose

Stambouli
Bentaleb

Chadli
Mason
Eriksen

Kane

With Stambouli sitting in there, it should also allow Bentaleb that touch more freedom to try and influence the game going forward. Yes Chadli and Eriksen aren't playing in their favoured positions, but it can be argued (especially with Eriksen) that they are just as effective in those areas too. The front three/four are pretty flexible anyway under Poch

We shouldn't be scared of going anywhere, I think all we miss at the moment is a natural leader...Just waiting for one of the boys to keep their heads in all situations and push us on..maybe Nabil could be that one?

I think we just need to avoid defeat TBH.

Agree. Even avoiding defeat would leave us in a decent position given our run in.

A win would be amazing and I really would fancy us to make it if we managed to win today, the belief we'd get would be huge.

I think dembele might play. He usually gets himself up for games against Man Utd.

This Rooney video stuff is irritating. How likely is he to bag an important goal today, tomorrow's headlines write themselves...

(As an aside, looks like two mates larking and I am inclined to believe the idea he's 'playing knocked out' and jumped back up conveniently after the video cut, but that's by the by)

Nervous about today. COYS. Set our run-in up nicely
