We were chasing the game, I can understand him wanting to keep one of his best goal scorers on! We don’t have many of them. I know Son is on a horrendous run of form but it wasn’t some crazy sub.

Son was awful though and Richarlison presses like a demented animal, it's the only thing I'm really pissed off with Conte for in that second half.

I just don't know what else to say tbh.

Will start with the positives.....

- Romero is a very good defender and the only player good enough moving forward if we want to actually achieve something.

- Bentancur was very good and it's fantastic to have him back.

- Kulusevski caused them plenty of problems and again is finding some form again following his injury.

Now the negatives....

- Lloris as we already knew is gone, but Forster is hardly an upgrade so we are fucked for the rest of the season.

- Every other defender we have just aren't good enough. They just create constant panic and I cannot believe just how many defensive errors there are every single fucking game. Let's hope there is something in this takeover/investment because we need a new RB and two new CBs at the very least.

- Son I'm afraid is gone, it's extremely sad but I just don't see how he turns this around. He needs to be dropped for Richarlison.

It's an extremely sad time to support Spurs right now. Our neighbours are flying and we are self-imploding. Please please please let this takeover/investment happen. Just bloody pay Gvardiols release clause and get Porro/Zaniolo in. We are now almost 2/3 of the way through the month with no incomings and no outgoings. It's a sad state of affairs to feel done with the PL in January after only 20 games but unless something significant happens very soon, I fear it's going to be a very toxic few months at the club.

If we persist with Lloris for the remainder of the season, we’ll struggle to win more than 2-3 games. He’s that bad now. Big clubs would move now, we won’t.

You honestly thought they were full tilt? They had KDB and Cancelo sitting on the bench. We shit the bed to put it simply.

Bentancur and Romero were the shining positives.

With the players they have de Bruyne and Cancelo are not critical to their team, pretty much all of their subs would get a game at our club and they gave it their all in that second half.

Soft team concedes soft goals and allows an easy turnaround for City. It was an entertaining game at least, and a gave a decent account for at least one half again before collapsing to a 4-0 deficit in the other half. I don't know what Conte is doing, but having a team so consistenly only able to show up for 45 mins only is poor from his perspective.

At this point, I'd be happy for a takeover and a thorough clean out of chairman, DoF, coach, and a decent number of players. Harry Kane is outstanding and I feel for him in the post Poch years of keeping and raising his level while all around him there is inconsistency and sub-par performance. That we can't capitalise on having an elite player like that to win a trophy is mind boggling.

Agree with almost all of this, but I still think it’s premature to declare Son as “gone”. Having a shite season no doubt and should be dropped definitely ( should have been dropped a while ago tbh), but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s gone from joint top scorer to finished at the top level in 8 months.
