Exactly. And once again this team shoves the term 'legends' back down peoples throats. I think when we lose, people need to start accepting that it's how it rolls, we'll win some, we'll lose some, we'll play well, we'll play poorly. Losing doesn't mean lack of 'bottle' every single time it happens.

So when we lose, think about it for a second before you throw the word 'legends' out there, 'we always bottle it when it matters' is bullshit. Ignorant, childish bullshit. It mattered last night. It mattered last week. This team has bottle in abundance, it'd be nice if they got credit for that instead of having this bullshit thrown at them every time we lose a game, it's thrown at them by the media and worse, by some of our own fans.
McNulty I think it was,on the beeb, made a good comment in his article about all the lazy journos that had to delete the word Spursy in those final glorious moments.

Erik Niva, swedish sport journalist and Spurs fan was almost in tears last night in the studio. He admitted that he was on the studio floor in need of CPR after the offside call. Anyway, I took the liberty to translate it and this is what he said directly after the match. I think this pretty much sums up how a lot of us are feeling.

"It is difficult to find words and summarize. Now I'm talking as a supporter. This match and the end is the most dramatic and memorable I have experienced with this club during my 35 years as a supporter.

Tottenham has won the FA Cup and League Cups, but this is clearly much bigger. It is a whole club's history, trauma and doubts that are transformed into something completely different when that VAR verdict just comes from nowhere. When Sterling scores that goal, there is no in point trying anymore. It doesn't matter how many arenas we build and how skilled the coaches we take in and what we do in the transfer window or at the academy. We are doomed, and that feeling hadn't been able to erase for decades if that had been the case. Now it will not be so for once. Now it becomes a completely different resolution and another end.

It's not about Tottenham being the better team today, that's not the thing. But the story changed course tonight. That's how it feels to me and many others who have been with this long, they feel the same. Tottenham now believes there is a future and that Tottenham can do it too. "

Perfect. Well, almost perfect. I think someone else summed it up better with...wfiuhefijvbeojefvnojegfnvepgfjevgpinbgw.

Tottenham returns to a semifinals of the European Cup 57 years after their previous (and only) presence (1962-2019). It is the longest wait of any club to return to play semifinals in the whole history of the European Cup.

"It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory.' I always wondered how he would finish the statement to describe when we succeeded. Last night wasn't an echo. We touched glory and lived up to his and our ideals. What an incredible game

I really want to say the wait has been worth it...

Wow. Don’t feel like I’ve slept a wink. Utterly incredible. I was fully prepared for another stomach churning defeat and that horrible low feeling we’ve had after very recent semi final defeats - but wow, we turned it on it’s head - what a feeling, what a night!

Was watching it last night and when city scored their 4th I decided to get to bed as I was getting up at 4am for work. Woke up at the back of 11 and checked the score. Took me ages to figure out with the widget on my phone as I was still in a daze. Don't think the Mrs was amused when I woke her up to tell her we got through ?

I'm at work but I feel like I haven't slept a wink. Work will just have to deal with me doing nothing today.

Feel like crying

Just fucking hell. Absolute bunch of heroes.
