Haven't we had ITK before about a mutual respect between Levy and Aulas - how they operate in a similar way and know each other are just trying to get the best value for their club?

WLB said on 17th June "He’s not as bad as reported him and levy believe it or not have respect you pay aulas his price he keeps to it"

And I'm sure I've read similar things during other times we've dealt with Lyon.

Yep I'm sure I've seen Spurs and Lyon strangely have a good relationship.

That may well be true but he certainly likes to make a big song and dance about every major sale.

If ownership has changed there then things could be different going forward in terms of a deal being done more quietly. That would give me hope as Paqueta looks a great option.

The one thing i do think is if he continues to develops and improve in the coming season, i can completely see PSG moving him next summer when Messi leaves. Kind of feels like this is our chance to get him.

I agree with you but I’m not sure we’ve actually ever had ITK on him? I could be wrong but certainly nothing recent, just Gold has mentioned him several times. Tbf, how much ITK have we had in general recently re our targets? There’s not even been much on Richarlison, feels like the club have gone into lockdown mode atm.

I think once it’s known that there is a bid we’ll start hearing more. These are the sort of “under the radar” signings that we are probably working on. The names such as Richarlison and Raphina are already out there so talking about them doesn’t really jeopardise much but I feel we are keeping quiet on him like we did Bissouma.

Well you see why Paratici runs a tight ship after the Diaz debacle in January. I believe Gold said he was even frustrated that one got out as early as it did.

Everything is so quiet, obviously we have the news on Richarlison but everything else is hush hush. Crazy really.

He’d be a great and slightly cheaper alternative to Raphinha.

Our lack of interest in Eriksen definitely makes me think we are looking at an alternative creative player. Perhaps someone who could operate in a front three as well as more of a number 10 if we wanted to play two up top. This guy would certainly fit the bill.

While true the player always wanted Liverpool. The leaks probably came from that end to draw them out.

My thoughts are we will pull the trigger on Lenglet, Spence and Richarlison. The try for Bremer. Once that’s done, try and clear the decks of those Conte doesn’t want. If we manage to sell rather than loan a few, then maybe there’ll be enough in the pot for Paqueta, Raphinha (if still available) or else strike some mutual loan deal for Zainolo/Rodon. Hopefully still room for a couple of prospective punts on development targets.

I kind of see this happening as well. Tie up the 3/4 Bremer hopefully as well. Then clear out Bergwijn, Lo Celso, Tanguy, Regi, Emerson, Winky and Rodon. Probably listen to offers for Gil, Sanchez and Lucas.
Then take stock and decide on anything else depending on who we shift. I still think we are severely lacking creativity like a Paqueta and if Lucas went and upgrade on him.
Looking at that list we have a lot of players to shift.

Desperately need a player like him for some flair, trickery and creativity. We can be a very well oiled machine but I do want us to have some magic about us the Spurs way.

We need two players like this, one injury and we’re back to 343.
