To be honest, at £44 for most of the seats, it's not much of a bargain by the time you factor in the travel (which can be a right pain in the arse).

It's mostly the travel that irritates me. Always involves going into london at the most awkward angle then faffing about on the tube

I know. I thought it would be sooo easy to keep going to matches when I moved from Notting Hill to Bath. But the train prices can be exorbitant, I simply can't go as often as I would like. I enjoy the travel though, so when I do go it's a treat from start to end.

I went from Chippenham in the summer to friendlies, and made a weekend out of them. Thing is, it was £55-odd per person return for the train and took 2.5 hours.

I live 30 miles by road from WHL now, and the train is about £15, but the entire journey is still near 2 hours as I have to walk to the station, then get a train to go to Liverpool St, then walk over to Fenchurch St, queue for trains, then the horrendous queue back again. I get up at 6.45am for work, so getting in past midnight is too silly for me.

Maybe it's the thought of having to endure another game that features the great Andros Townsend, that's putting people off parting with a hard earned £44 notes.
