Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy does have a price in mind for Harry Kane, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said: "Daniel Levy has a real conundrum if Bayern commit to a bigger offer because this is his last chance to get big money for Kane and, at the same time, get him out of the country so that he can’t harm Spurs in the next couple of years.

It’s probably the most intriguing part of this. In a year’s time, he could end up at [Manchester] United or Chelsea or at another rival club on a free transfer, but if he joins Bayern now, he’s almost certain to stick with them for a couple of seasons while he collects his trophies.

"Now, that totally goes against everything briefed because Spurs are adamant still that Kane is not for sale — in England or abroad. But everyone is wondering if the businessman in Levy can genuinely stick to that line of thinking. And actually, I’m told there is a point at which he would listen to offers.

"Here’s what I’ve heard: If Bayern make an overall offer that gets above and beyond £100m, then it would have to be considered. And when I say beyond, I’m talking £120m.

"So let’s face it — that is unlikely. Bayern are serious about trying to sign Kane and they have been given assurances that he is willing to do it. But can they actually get to the levels needed? It’s true Spurs are putting a new contract offer in front of Kane but, of course, there is no chance of him signing that at the moment."

Has anyone else ever believed it was much more than £100m. I mean I know very little about this but assumed it was that figure ish and a decent structure. Everyone acting like this is some revaluation. These ppl have been offering less than £80m!

I've always thought he would want the record transfer this window.

100 million euros sounds better.
Not to Levy it doesn’t! Also that’s a bit of a travesty I’d say. It’s got to be over £100m if he is to sanction it esp when you see others growing for around that fee and they still have it all to do whereas Kane is a known quantity.

So...random journo from a naff website, says he's heard something that may or may not be correct and is passing it off as fact?

But he said, "Here's what I've heard" <- What more do you need??

There are very, very, very few players who would be for sale at 120mil.

No-I mean it sounds better when Bayern say it-for themselves and the press. It's way short of what Levy wants and hopefully it'll still be the fact that will stuff the arrogant German's

Kane will still be a Spurs player this coming season. And it wouldn't surprise me if he signs a new deal! 🥳

Regardless of Naff journalism, rumors and inuendo I really think that Kane is going this summer. I feel sure that Levy was hoping to get Kane to sign a new deal and hung on as long as he could but there is no way he is going to pass up £100 mil or more when he needs money for another couple of top players. Most supporters, including me were hoping we could get one more season out of him and under Ange and see what happens but I suppose it was just wishful thinking.

I just can't see it. I don't think any of us would begrudge him the move, but do you really want to up sticks just to win a more than likely trophy? I think Mrs. Kane and the kids might have something to say about that. Let's not forget that Alan Shearer only won the title that Blackburn effectively bought before settling at 'his' club and be satisfied with that. If we start the season well-ish, I reckon Harry will sign a new contract. n.b. I'm not putting money on it; that's just what I think/hope!
