Looks like Lukaku going to inter. Fair play to him trying it out in another country. Good footballer when fit and in form! Also apparently one of the nicest smartest footballers around, as well as speaking his native dutch and French he speaks English, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Lingala! Similar to Son his dad was very involved in his football and schooling and taught him well. Can see him learning Italian too.

£15m for a 33 year old. Man Utd really are terrible at transfers nowadays. Mind you, how much did we pay for Llorente?

Manchester United have agreed a £6.2m-a-year deal for Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic, 33. The Croatia international will either cost around £15m or be included as part of a swap deal for United's 26-year-old Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku. (Mail)

It's a lot of money but he's a good player although it's hard to think anything of Man Utd's signings seeing as they have a rookie manager in charge anyway.

United massively overpaid for Lukaku in the first place, £75m + £15m in add-ons was mental for a player who goes missing in big games and only scored more than 20 league goals in a season once. He went 12 games without scoring last season!

Rashford and Greenwood are not enough and they will be the only out and out strikers at the Club if Lukaku leaves. Yes Martial and Sanchez can play there but you wouldn't back either of them to bag 20 goals. They surely have to replace Lukaku with a big name.

80mill for Maguire means (amongst other things) that from this point on Man Utd fans cannot complain about money ruining the game and how crazy the market is. They are just as bad as PSG or Man City with a move like that.

Lukaku being fined for missing training this week. They will need to get rid of him, otherwise he might become a bad influence in the dressing room.

Also, their rebuild does not seem to be that impressive. Wan Bissaka and Maguire might be good additions, the guy from Leeds might work out, but is that any game changing talent for 140 million? If it works out for them, good for them, but I am sure their spoiled fan base is underwhelmed!

Maguire is probably game-changing in the sense that their previous CB line-up was so crap he's definitely an improvement. Not the difference between them challenging for titles though.

Wan-Bissaka who knows, he had a great season last year but it's not really much of a sample size. He also might find it hard to adjust now that most of their games will involve teams sitting off them so there'll be less space for him to run into. FWIW I think both of them will do well in the end, but like I say they're still a long way off getting back to where they used to be so they don't worry me too much, especially not with "Ole at the wheel". I can't see him lasting till the end of the season to be honest.

Mandzukic is a proper work horse though. Could turn out to be good business, maybe even better than our Llorente deal.

They looked good against us in that friendly and yes it's only a friendly but they did have intensity and pace so I reckon they make a good start to the season but slowly drift off in the middle. They look a good counter attacking side.

They looked rubbish against that lower league team the other day, struggled to break down a deep defence and didn't have any noticeable patterns of play, this is where coaching comes in and this is where Ole is going to struggle.

Didn't watch it myself but if they are playing against a team sitting back they will always struggle they look built for the counter attack and nothing else
