Anyone from Newcastle we would want ? They need to sell in Jan or summer
Isak please, perfect for Ange, imagine how rapid out front 3 would be. I would still keep Richarlison too. Our depth would be probably the best in the PL. we don’t need Bruno unless it was an exceptional deal.Athletic Podcast discussed Newcastle FFP and ttey would need to sell 1-2 players. They mentioned Isak and Bruno
They'd be wanting an awful lot of money for him considering how much they paid and rightly so. We are in a very good place regarding ffp and I'm sure we'll be looking to keep it that way. Can't see us parting with that sort of money on one player tbh.Isak please, perfect for Ange, imagine how rapid out front 3 would be. I would still keep Richarlison too. I think it’s one of those signings Levy won’t make but would take us to a different level. Don’t blame Levy for not sanctioning it but it’s a game changing signing IMO. Still only 24 too. We are just missing an out and out striker atm. They'd be wanting an awful lot of money for him considering how much they paid and rightly so. They paid 60m for him so wdnt expect he goes for anyhting lessIsak please, perfect for Ange, imagine how rapid out front 3 would be. I would still keep Richarlison too. Our depth would be probably the best in the PL. we don’t need Bruno unless it was an exceptional deal.
From the Podcast I listened to they made it sound like Newcastle FFP woes were severeIsak and Gordon, but I can't see Newcastle selling at the kind of prices we'd be buying at. Though, if we qualify for the CL, our squad is quite deep, so instead of buying several players per window, we could be in a position where we just buy 1 quality player with the CL budget.
The trouble with Isak is that he was signed on a 6 year deal, so even if we offered them £80 million for him, that's only roughly £40 million profit towards FFP, which for a player as important as him, isn't that much. Guimaraes is FFP amortised value is only £20 million, so if they get a similar offer for him, which is likely given how good he is, then they'll get £60 million towards FFP. But we don't need Guimaraes in the way we need a top class striker.
Would be a bargin IMO, but it’s not really the deals we tent to do.They paid 60m for him so wdnt expect he goes for anyhting less
We've done 50 for Richarlison and 47 for Brennan we are slowly getting there I don't think it's entirely out of reach. I can't see us doing 80m thoughWould be a bargin IMO, but it’s not really the deals we tent to do.
Teams are obviously panicking now about FFP and rightly so. Fair play to Levy for keeping us tight. From the Podcast I listened to they made it sound like Newcastle FFP woes were severe
Maybe there will be an opportunity
Yeah I do wonder if he saw it coming and now the opportunity is there.Teams are obviously panicking now about FFP and rightly so. Fair play to Levy for keeping us tight.
How clear are we from ffp? I mean ENIC has never invested in us apart from the initial buy out have they?Yeah I do wonder if he saw it coming and now the opportunity is there.
I think we are in the top 5 +2.2M, Newcatle -19.3M Arsenal -115MHow clear are we from ffp? I mean ENIC has never invested in us apart from the initial buy out have they?
He has frequently mentioned it over recent years to be fair.Yeah I do wonder if he saw it coming and now the opportunity is there.
Yep - always gonna happen - which of the 4 Saudi clubs that is owned by the same guy will he go to?Almiron looking like he’s going to Saudi, what a surprise that when they need to shift players Saudi comes knocking….
Hard to dislike Almiron. Works his bollocks off for his team, doesn't dive, not dirty or snidey, always smiling...Yep - always gonna happen - which of the 4 Saudi clubs that is owned by the same guy will he go to?
At least we won't have to see his annoying, 'i'd love to punch' face again I suppose (if he does go)
