Wouldn't surprise me at all, given that they've not really done much outside of Tonali for Newcastle, if they just pivoted to Chelsea given the investment there (of which some is theirs) and bought Clearlake out and cut bait on Newcastle if they have a shit season. It was an in for them to the PL, and a "big club", but Chelsea weren't available then.

Yeah they have, although im not sure villa are great. Thyeve had a lot of injuries to their CBs and look awful playing with a high line and no press. If they play like that against us i expect to score a hat full particularly if out from 3 is solomun son johnson
