Yeah, you'd hope so, wouldn't you? But I've seen Liverpool fans hoping that the fact that their club put a tweet out condemning the racist abuse doesn't distract from the "real issue" of the result of a football match.

Just about sums them up.

Problem with this vile club is they want to be marginalised because by being marginalised it can galvanise.

They want to feel like they're treated worse.

If they could they'd be the people's Republic of Liverpool. They think that nobody outside of the city understands the historical or current plight of Liverpudlians. No-one understands what supporting Liverpool is like.

Openly supporting racist players.

Getting English clubs banned from European competition. But guess what, nobody is really allowed to talk about that.

For Liverpool, Klopp is the perfect match because in him they've got an absolute wanker of a manager who is in the same mould. Massively ****y behaviour on the touchline last season when they beat us. Literally foaming at the mouth shouting and celebrating at the forth official.
Then in the presser after the game tells Mason to 'worry about other stuff' when Mason questioned why Jota, who scored the fucking winner, was still on the pitch after literally karate kicking Skipp on the temple.

I can't tell you how much I hate them. Far more than any other club and it's always been that way for me. Absolute deluded fanbase and club. Scum.

In true Kevin Keegan style, I'd love it if we beat them at their shit hole stadium in their shit hole city when we play them away.

I'm sure I read or heard a story about Liverpool fans at Old Trafford about 10 years ago (don't know if its true but if the cap fits and all that), of the Liverpool fans throwing shit (actual shit) on the Man U fans below.

Most Liverpool fans I know are fairly level headed but have met 2 this year who are on the same level as internet fans. The first was a Brummy lad who I met in Estonia - the delusion was strong with that one and the second, a guy at my local on Saturday who at final whistle started effing and jeffing at two young lads sat with their grandparents, calling Spurs cheats, lucky gits and how we couldn't beat them with 9 men and needed Matip to score the winner for us.

They are wired differently to anyone else. I love football, I love Spurs but there's a line you don't cross no matter how angry you are in the heat of the moment. Take a deep breath. Remember its just a football match.

I think them winning the league the season there was no football ( ) has made them a million times worse in terms of victimology and entitlement.

Trouble is the media is awash with pundits etc who have Liverpool ties. I've just read about Stephen Warnock saying Udogie should have been sent off for brandishing an imaginary card. If you see the footage, Udogie ends up on the deck and puts both his arms out on a 'wtf' way. He's not brandishing an imaginary card, but if that narrative gains any traction it will soon become a fact in people's minds who want to see it that way.

So fed up with all this now. Liverpool’s statement played up to their social media fans and now they’ve made sure that every ref that refs them this season will have to think twice about giving even a yellow because all hell will break loose if it’s a slightly harsh one… It’s the equivalent of a player moaning at a ref so much during the game that he eventually gives you that dodgy penalty.

Complaining about integrity, coming from a club who wore Suarez T-shirts. They really are a horrible club.

Didn't see them offering any sympathy (or even a replay!) when Jota kicked Skipp in the head, didn't get a deserved red but then went on to score a late winner. Fuck them! Entitled wankers.
