Let them have the replay. But they put the CL trophy on the line at the same time. At our stadium though, with a crowd. Winner takes all.

They've been trending in this direction for years, but Liverpool are now officially the worst, most insufferable fan base in the whole country.

Can't think of a more obnoxious, entitled, aggressive, deluded un-self aware, humourless bunch....and that's with some tough competition!

As for their conspiracy theories - do me a favour! There has been ONE and only ONE actual conspiracy in English football that has come to light in recent years - and that was the secret conspiracy to destroy the football family pyramid and start a super league AND LIVERPOOL WERE BANG SMACK IN THE MIDDLE OF THAT CONSPIRACY THEY WERE THE CONSPIRATORS.

And while I am at it

If Liverpool want some historical wrongs righted - let's start with financial compensation to all the other clubs who were banned from Europe because of the behaviour of their fans.

What is being ignored here is that if you take away VAR completely from that match, it's still an offside goal because the linesman flagged it (wrongly as it turns out but it was still deemed offside by him at the time). Human error happens in every single match around the country.

I mean, lets replay the game by all means but they will need to start the game with 9 men because there was nothing wrong with those two red cards.

What was the refs original decision re Jones? He had to go to VAR which implies he made an error there too.

That is ridiculous and should be laughed out of town - I assume that's some Utd fan paradying LFC?

What would be the rationale for any replay to be behind closed doors? Why would we cede home advantage? Is it just because they couldn't afford the train fair, or is there something I'm totally missing?

I actually think we would have a good chance of beating them at home again. We didn’t play particularly well on Saturday. We can do better.

But for me it would be terrible if the game was replayed because it would set a horrible precedent. No one cheated, it was a mistake. It will fast become tedious when every couple of weeks there are demands for replays, which will be the case. It will be like not being able to celebrate a goal for fear of var cancelling it out but on steroids.

Their statement questioning the integrity of the officials is well over the mark. Are they accusing them of cheating?

Plenty of people have been saying that the media narrative wouldn't be anything like this if it happened to a smaller club.

This event, exemplifies that.

The other reason it wont happen is because the other top PL sides would be incensed. I bet Arsenal and Man City are actually delighted we won on Saturday as they will see Liverpool as bigger rivals to the title than us. They'd challenge any potential talk of a rematch.

Didn’t we lose out to Champs League when Mendez scored the goal from the halfway line? Lino just stood still rather than running down the line which would’ve enabled him to have a clearer view when the ball crossed the line!
Mendes was in 04/05 season, it was 05/06 when we lost CL to dodgy lasagna.

Only people Joseph brown tags can reply. He’s obviously some bin dipper who thinks is important. The pleb!
The only Joe Brown I know sings Old Brown Shoe.

But yeah this guy has no clue what letters Liverpool are or aren’t preparing to formally send.

More chance of finding a condom in the Vatican than Levy accepting a replay. Seen decades of decisions going in Liverpool's favour especially at the cop end so they can jog on.

Liverpool have an unerring ability to turn any situation into an opportunity to become the victims. Unbelievably, they even tried to do it with Suarez with their t-shirt support. Klopp tries to wind them up into a frenzy of them against the world. It’s dangerous though, as the disgusting racism against Destiny shows.

I was there on Saturday and it was obvious they couldn’t cope with our midfield and resorted to fouls early on. Don’t blame the sendings off on the Ref Klopp, it’s on your head. Sorry I forgot, your the victim.

Nah I’m into this actually, let’s replay every controversial match. Get Luis Garcia to actually score the goal that took them to the final in 2005. Revive Maradona and have him still outjump a racist a foot taller than him. Let's go back to the 66 final. Let's not stop until everyone's happy.

Everytime I come in here I leave more baffled than when I entered.

Liverpool as a club and their fans as a fanbase must, absolutely must, be aware of just how weird this all looks? Or is dignity a totally alien concept to them? Stupid question.....

This again comes back to the media perpetuating the idea that some kind of heist of Oceans 11 (ok, Oceans 12) levels has been carried out - massive dose of reality needs to be served by someone.
