Potter seems to be having similar issues at Chelsea. Lots of good build up play, chances created, but can’t convert.

If he did that with us and had Kane and son in the end it would be perfect.

No imo. Not the first time a very good manager hasn't fitted in a club and wont be the last.

I think it was on Totally. I'm sure Potter would like to see how that would work but Lukaku's 2022 was horrendous and 2023 hasn't started much better so there's a big question as to whether he's even good enough any more.

Lukaku will have to make a big turn around to work. He hasnt been very good at all for inter this season, even permiting for injuries.

Tbf theyve got Nkundu coming in. They were never going to spend big money in that position. And the weird thing is I actually rate Haavertz in that position. He does a lot for the team, but yeah, you need to play him with widemen who can score. Technically Sterling is one and Myrdruk is supposed to be but hes been awful.

The thing is, Ive watched a lot of chelsea. I dont think finishing is their biggest problem. The team is fundementally disfunctional.

Brave of Potter to come out in his interview yesterday and say that he isn't the problem there.

Yup we're absolutely nailed to lose that one. We've played Chelsea so many times in recent years when we're on the the up and they're at a low ebb, only for them to play out of their skin and us barely show up.

All those recent misses from Felix, Sterling, and Havertz will be flying into the top corner next weekend.
