Hahaha Poch ain’t going to last there. Maybe they’ll have another three manager season, or shall they top it and go for four?

Surprising how much shite you can buy for £900,000,000. Still, they've only got Mudryk for another 14 years.

Considering Poch was always an advocate of a small, tightly knit and egoless squad, the fact he's ended up at PSG and then Chelsea is baffling. It's the opposite of his football philosophy. That CL run really messed his head up, man. 🤷🏼‍♂️😕

Bohley is singlehandedly destroying the club and it's a joy to watch.

They've paid colossal money for some fucking bang average players and stupidly long contracts.

Looking at their starting lineup and it screams bang average.

I bet Boehly thought this was going to be a walk in the park. Buy a team, act like a billy big bollocks buying loads of players and then win everything. Le Saux said in commentary - they can spend as much as they like on as many players as they like but they're never going to achieve anything (with Poch, or any manager) until they calm the fuck down and let the coach actually build a team.

No wonder the likes of Caicedo and Lavia "would rather go to Chelsea" than Liverpool or whoever - they know the contracts they've just signed (8 and 7 years respectively) set them up for the rest of their careers (in terms of wages and the fact that Chelsea will be stuck with them no matter how they perform). It's an obscene way to run a football club, I doubt it even occurred to UEFA and the Premier League etc that anybody would be stupid enough to put all their new signings on these ridiculous contracts to get around FFP so never bothered to make a rule against it.

He was obviously desperate to get back into management but once we decided to move on he didn't seem to have any option but to make a deal with the devil.

He was singing the praises of the Saudi league the other day. Fuck him.

Baffling they got rid of Tuchel in the first place and wrote off last season let alone make it seem like they had a better plan.

The way these lot are behaving should raise serious questions about the motivation of anyone joining them. They are showing a blatant disrespect to the sport.

It's a team game and a sport. They have shown no class or even attempt to hide their despicable methods. At least with city and the toon despite using a cheat code they have at least gone about it a clear way ie city got pep and bought players for his system. The toon have got Eddie Howe a young English manager and bought (supported) young English players or decent quality players so they have some sort of Identity. I still despise both of them too though just to be clear.

This is just so weird and I think pretty much every football fan will take huge satisfaction every time they lose.

Le Saux said that in commentary? Fair play…. :)

That's precisely where it all started to go off the rails. Boehly(boehlyboehlyboehly - I have no idea, love saying that name over and over though... boehlyboehlyboehly hah!) came in with all the swagger, convinced that he could slap his own brand on a team that has basically been run by a tremendously shifty Russian and oiled with money, but who at least made sure they got the right people in to do the right jobs.

Tuchel was clearly a great fit, the players respected him - I suspect that Tuchel wanted to discuss a new contract and the pay rise that you can't argue he didn't earn, but Toddy wanted to show him who was boss; he argued over transfers - I mean, who argues with a professional, successful football manager, with zero personal experience themselves over shit like that? Probably tried to knuckle ball him on any new contract too. Bayern wanted him, probably offered him what he deserved, would've been an easy choice.

Boehly came to the party, bought the house, kicked everyone out and now he's just bopping away to Bruce Springsteen on repeat, with a bunch of people he paid to be his friends. Twat.
