Was supposed to spend the season on loan at Brentford, but has been recalled. Surely we are not that short of centrebacks? Eek

Does seem to be a strange decision to bring him back unless he is going to be needed. Eek

Can't have anything to do with the first team squad.

At the moment we have king, woodgate, dawson, kaboul, zokora, huddlestone. I'm not sure if TAH is out on loan but if not he's another choice. And "apparently" we're closing in on Charlie. So yeah.

We appear to be wafer thin in many parts of the pitch .

Rather have him back than any panic signings .

Maybe Brentford gave impression that they wouldnt use him regulary?

Could well be the case, if it was determined that the loan would not aid the players developement more or as much as staying with us (or moving to another club) would then it stands to reason that we would recall him on the basis of this opinion.

Or any number of personal reasons. Possibly Brentford wasn't for him. Maybe the bigger boys tried something in the showers? Possibly related to TAH's loan to Norwich? We might need cover for him in the ressies and the Mills loan always had a 'stay close by' thing about it. Maybe he'll be back and forth throughout the season.

Either that or we've received a permanent bid for him that's too good to turn down?

That or we could be trying to use him as a makeweight in another deal? I can't think for whom though.

Its an interesting one, especially since Troy is going out. It could signal a number of things, perhaps he will go out somewhere else, maybe he will get on the bench with the seven subs coming into effect. Who knows.

More likely to cover Troyston's departure one would think. Poor old Clive would be down to the scraps otherwise, especially if RicRoc and Big Tony bugger off.

Hmmm very odd especially if he does have an attitude problem which would be a great shame as he seems a great prospect.

Although a whole seasons lone at Brentford might not be the best for him - would prehaps prefer to see him with a league 1 club or championship team if possible to give him a testing.
