I think the best bit is the discrepancy between the 2 ages. 17 and 41.... If he is anywhere near the latter he will be usless by 20. He is certainly older than 17 but where the hell did they pluck 41 from!?

The BBC seem to be suggesting that the African website has said he told them he was 41. Looking at him he looks closer to 41 than 17 but you just don't know do you. If it does conspire that he has lied about his age, it is Lazio's problem and they will have to live and die by their belief.

The whole actual age thing does seem to be a massive problem with African footballers. I guess you are best off only signings those who grew up in somewhere like France or Belgium so you can be absolutely certain of their age.
