He was probably in his 30s actually. I got the impression he felt like he should’ve made it as a pro. I know that doesn’t narrow it down much
He was only saying what other fans are thinking
I was still nervous even though we where 3-1 up going into stoppage time.
Some fucking bell end sat behind me every single match last season and did nothing, whatsoever, but moan about whatever referee was in charge.
From the minute they kicked off, not a word until the ref did or didn't blow his whistle for something then he was off. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of the ref and every decisions he's ever made in his career.
Possibly the best example of this was when Kane scored goal 100 against Southampton.
One of our players gets tripped outside the box, free kick is given. He's utterly frothing at the mouth it's not a penalty (despite being in the upper tier of the opposite end of Wembley)
Eriksen dinks in a lovely free kick, Kane powers the header home, every one there goes mental, "Kane 100" comes up all over the signage. But this dick is still clearly moaning about the ref and how he did the same in another game between X & Y in 2009 or something. He didn't celebrate. He didn't even acknowledge the goal was such a land mark.
Whenever I get an email saying "You can now buy tickets for last season seat at Wembley" I just shudder then delete it.
In stark contrast, I was at the Fulham game and Kane scores the first goal he's ever scored in August. Random woman in front turns round and randomly double high fives me.
I genuinely hate people who complain when nothing bad has happened. At the Milwall game (5 or 6 nil) some old codgers spent the whole match moaning about us playing too slow, not passing fast enough etc,
You don't see many 5 or 6 nils. It pretty much is the perfect performance to do that and no one should be moaning. But there they were.
