Don't see a thread, so thought I'd start one. The new season starts tomorrow. Who do you think will win it?

For anyone interested the second leg of the super copa is live on sky now. Atletico 1-0 up and leading 2-1 on aggregate.

Real Madrid. I hope. Don't want Suarez winning a thing. Shame, I liked Barcelona until they took him on

Antics aside he is own of the most fun players to watch play the game. Dude is a brilliant striker. Personally the best out and out striker in the world

The Neymar and Suarez signings are pushing Barca miles away from what the club built it's success upon: La Masia-dominated lineups. It's a real shame.

Cruyff disagrees and I agree with him, Tiki Taka has been blown out of proportion. The good barca philosophy is what made them great, they have been moving away from that philosophy (tiki taka or whatever) and team based game.

they let messi rule the roost and it backfired on them.

They need to go back to making a team!

I dont get how Casillas has weasled his way back to RM's #1. Really shocking decision by Ancelotti. Navas and Lopez are far better keepers now. Casillas has been on the slide for a few years and he's just a bit shit now.

Anyway, hope Atleti win it again. They are actually trying to build a team rather than going balls to wall for the flavor of the week. Think Barca will be far too direct to do anything(unless they keep the racist cannibal on the bench when he comes back). Madrid are making a big mistake by getting rid of Di Maria. Atleti might have a real shot at it this season actually.

If it was just for the cup, which isn't the most presitigious cup to begin with, then I can understand him playing Casillas just to give the guy a confidence boost. If he starts playing him as number 1 in the league then Ancelotti needs his head checked and is probably being told to play him.

Duda should get fined for that red card.

Edit: Fine the other player too.

The keeper scored a great header and the stupid ref disallowed it!

Was a great goal, have no idea how it was disallowed since no player was near him

It was a bizarre decision and he then denied them a penalty when Kameni fouled an Atletic player moments later.

As Stephen Fletcher once said "head's gone".

What a crap debut. Sent off after one minute:banhappy:
Could of been worse Deulofeu is standing on the sideline about to come on and getting a speech then gets told to sit down despite having been standing next to the 4th official for 5mins lol

If your going to watch a la liga game today, watch the eibar-sociedad game. Their story is amazing. Their a small town in the basque region of Spain. Their ground only holds 5,250 people( changing to 6,700). They have zero debt but had to raise €1.7 million to compete in the league.(didn't have enough share capital). 8,000 people from 47 countries raised the money because the president didn't want a rich owner who would turn them into a play thing. I really hope they stay up.
