Not going to lie, I know nothing about him. Annoying since I used to follow Milan quite closely, not so much these days though ... well not at all. But yeah, i'm hearing we've gone cheap and we're panicking. But if we went out and splashed 80mill on a striker then im sure i'd be hearing we should have spent that on a defensive midfielder instead, and 'whats he going to do when Harry's back'. Seems like a sensible move to me - if we do indeed make it - given the circumstances we're under at the moment. It seems like a player was/is there somewhere, so hopefully he can do a job. Sounds like we need to play to his strengths though to get much out of him, something we didn't really care much about with Fernando.

I rate this transfer as one of the best business we can do it attack wise.

I'm not saying this because I think he will improve our attack directly but the fact he's not super awesome, which won't be asking for more play time in future, and the fact he can also play as an inside forward and create competition for Moura will massive boost our squad morale.

Milan supporting mate says he'll be good with decent service and that Milan are trash this year so you can't judge him fairly on his time there.

In the Italian milan forums they are not so happy about the prospect of him leaving. A few highlights

'For him to leave now would be shit'

'I wouldn't sell him for less than 50 million. He is a good Centre Forward, he isn't world class and probably isn't the top level player we would like to be leading our line, however, right now he is one of only few not to blame for the current situation'

'Ideally ibra will arrive and help him develop. He still has a lot to learn to truly become a top player'

'I'd rather keep him with Ibra. I mean, for 30 million who would you buy to replace him?'

'Selling Piatek would be a mistake, the problems we've have are not our centre forwards but rather our complete lack of creativity'

'Now, Piatek is not world class, but he knows how to score. We have to play to his strengths, not to what the manager would like him to be capable of'

We are so spoilt by Kane. Not sure how some will be appeased, perhaps until a world class player comes in which will never happen.

Will be blessed if there is any half-decent strikers would wanna come in at January at our current plight, and Piatek is more than half-decent.

Maybe people are happier with Llorente than Piatek.

Would have killed to have get this guy when he was at Genoa so I’m not going to write him off because he’s struggling in a poor AC team. He could come in refind his confidence and smash goals in or he could come in and struggle and then be happy to bench and fight for his place with Kane. He’s more of a poacher than Kane so if we needed they could play together too with Harry deeper.
Think he’s the best we could attract to be Kane’s backup and Kane’s his role model so it should be a great move for him to learn

Swear there was a point last season where he was scoring every game for them? Must have done nothing since

He'll have no problems getting his favorite rice waffles in all those polish supermarkets in Tottenham.

In other words you're saying we can't sign a striker outside the premier league while we got Kane? Lol

The club can do what they want but if fans think a Milan reject is gonna come in and immediately replace Kane’s output they will be disappointed. I think it would be much more wise to get a Son rotation option for the wing and rely on Son for goals up front.
