NO

I would quite like to see us actually compete for the foreseeable future and not go backwards again

He's meant to be very poor tactically and Yogi was the key when they did well with Germany. Don't want some romantic appointment of a former playing great. We need someone whose won championships and competed in the Champs league, someone who will immediately get the respect of the players and be a statement of our intent to go for the title next year.

Would be a terrible appointment in my opinion and would taint his reputation - a firm no!

No thank you - not experienced enough by half. A rehashed story from last Summer when the press were convinced that Harry was going to be the next Chelski manager.

Silly idea, and would completely undermine everything Levy's been building.

Don't believe it for a minute.

On the slim chance there's something in it, no, don't want him.

But Bernstein will pay whatever it takes once the FA have identified their candidate.

Compensation: Spurs's Daniel Levy
'We won't be pennypinching on this,' he said. 'We'll pay what we have to pay.'

Is that the most stupid comment in the world when you're about to start negotiationg with Levy?

What arrogance from the FA... Levy is going to rip them a new one.

The problem with the FA is they are businessmen. They think that they are still living in the financial world and will do stupid things like giving capello a new contract before the WC2010 had even started without waiting to see what our performance was like. Paying over the odds to management as a way of attracting the best talent seems to be business thinking rooted in the square mile. They need to get in their heads that they are not in the City anymore but in the working class football world.

That said I hope Levy bleeds them dry.

Really hope there isn't any truth in this, suspect there isn't anyway.

He could make a great sporting director, but I don't think it is a goer. For, one thing he has has always been committed to living in California for business and family.
