I haven't gone through all this thread, but i'd like to say 2 things. Firstly, i'm ok with Crouch. Proven Prem player etc etc etc. Secondly, anyone who thinks KJH isn't good enough for us is a bit weird. Fair enough if you wonder whether he's exactly what we need, but to say he's not good enough for us, a team not even in Europe, is just absurd.

Will it take a move to Arsenal and for him to bang in 20 goals there to make people realise that they're living in cloud cuckoo land?

he scored twice against copenhagen in our 1st game away from home but we lost 0 - 2 in amsterdam. second goal very unlucky late in the game

Sorry, two against Copenhagen, but Suarez got the only goal against Slavia, I thought (although he and Huntelaar managed to miss umpteen chances in both legs).

But comparing Crouch and Huntelaar is pointless. You might as well compare Huntelaar with Berbatov. Crouch could, however, be a very good foil for Huntelaar if we signed the two of them.
