I just magined what if we could get Ki Sung Young from Swansea city during last transfer market was opened? Instead of Stambuli.

I believe Stambuli is decent player for tottenham but Ki is decent player as well.

But people here (Korea) saying that Ki's pace is not fast enough for adapting Pochi's Tottenham.

And they are also saying Capoue is a lot better than Ki, but their role is little bit different and Ki's passing is what Tottenham really need.

We need someone who can connect defender and midfielder, forward easily.

His short and long pass is accurate, his ball keeping ability is exceptional.

Most important thing is he can do his job really well under high pressure.

Furthermore, he can be ball playing defender if needed, he has experience in Sunderland and Korean national team.

What do you think?? I want to share UK Tottenham fan's idea with Korean fan.

I think he's a good player, better passer than what we have possibly but we're overstocked in midfield plus we have an abundance of youngsters in that position I'd like to see us develop

I agree we have too many in midfield, but we don't have this kind of passe style, right?
I admit that our youngster have to get some chance in field but we must aim high with decent players.

Stambouli hasn't even played for us yet.

Ki's alright, but a completely different player to Stambouli. We needed more steel and speed of thought in Midlfield and that's what we've got.

I remember being caught surprised that he was loaned out last season as I thought he was one of swansea's better players. He is probably about the same quality of our other midfielders albiet a better passer.

That's right, we really need steel and speed in the midfield
However sometime, especially versus strong team like chelsea and mancity, we need the player who can strongly keep his ball from opposite and passing well under pressure.

Pochi's speed game strategy is outstanding but we need one another option just in case.

We saw the tragedy last game versus Liverpool, liverpool midfielder hold our Capoue tight and there's no one who can get the ball from the defender to forth.

That's my point of view.

Me too.
It was quite surprized
He wouldn't look out of place for sure, but I don't see him as much of an upgrade on what we already have

This is what Korean tottenham's fan is saying.

He's better than bentaleb I guess, I'm not sure about Stambuli.

I know some fans are disappointed that Spurs didn't sign Schneiderlin and instead had to settle for Stambouli....but before we start judging him as "good enough" or "not good enough" I personally believe (not sure if you all agree ) that we better wait until after he's at least played a few games for Spurs....

Haven't seen enough of Ki yet to know how good he could be but he looked tidy in a Cardiff shirt and scored a nice goal against united. He doesn't look like he has much of a tackle from what I've seen.

I like him cos we have the same name. Kinda. My name isn't Ki Sung Young. You don't get many of them in an Irish family.

I think we need to give Stambouli at least half a season, hopefully an injury-free one as well, before we make any judgement about him. About Ki, I watched a good bit of Sunderland's matches last season and he was one of their brightest lights although he is very underrated (Wickham might have scored important goals, but I think Ki was a very important part of Sunderland staying in the PL). Consistent, very good technically, very nice passer and a hard worker defensively. I think when it comes to winning the ball back there are better DMs out there, but with his skill and vision on the ball i rate him as a very good player. We have plenty of CMs though, and we might try again for MS next in Jan, so I think we should address other high priority positions first, like LW.

Ki is a totally different player to Stambouli so the comparison is meaningless. A better comparison would be Ryan Mason.
