He is a good player, but sometimes people bang on about him too much. Take away his pace and he's not got a lot to frighten you with. He dicked us last season because we set up badly. Klopp knew what he was doing by getting a pace merchant to torment Dier and Davies down that side.

I like Keita. He doesn't need to use pace to get around players and can spot a good pass when it's on. I reckon he'd suit us well.

That's like saying if Kane couldn't finish he wouldn't be good. Mané's pace is a big part of his game and it is effective. Until the premier league starts having restrictions on how fast players can run, he's allowed to use his pace in a football math.

He would fit more as depth for Mane/Salah/lallana for them than a Coutinho. The club i would be more worried about is Chelsea. They need winger depth for Hazard and Pedro and would love another gazumping. Plus they have a long track record of overbuying attackers they never use.

Mane is a lot more dangerous against the bigger teams where he uses his pace and directness well, even when he was playing Liverpool still struggled against a low block. He hasn't yet gained the guile to open up tight defences IMHO.

I can see why some think he's put on too much of a pedestal, but big game players always will get the kudos. It is something we lack in big games however (along with learning to counter the press) and I think Keita Balde can provide this. I hope we get him.

People may say surely Chelsea would be aware due to the West Ham interest but it doesn't work that way. These clubs don't mind lesser clubs taking a risk as they can always try and snap them up later. We get involved and then suddenly they have a decision to make, and this guy will be relatively cheap to them...

Id much prefer us to sign Feleipe Anderson if we are going shopping in lazio, but he will cost more because of the contract situation but he is exactly they type of player we need and that would fit perfectly in with the poch plan and philosophy

I agree on both points. I think he is saying their is some bad itk going around but there is always bad itk so which bad itk and whose I have no idea.
