Is he injured or just out of favour? I don't think I've seen his name in reserve squads or first team news.

I was just thinking the same thing today. He was given an opportunity earlier in the season but as since been left in the cold. While he is young, his formed decreased at each opportunity. He has trouble with consistency.

he is an attacking mid, wasnt really being played as one though..

i hope he does get a chance to show what he can do in his best position before he gets shipped off,

though with likely recruitment in the cm in the summer, it doesn't look good..

We should give him some time FFS and in the summer we should be getting rid of the older chaff (not a 21(ish) year old named best young player in his league the season before, in his first season in the prem and who has already had to play for 2 different managers while here)

I don't think he can cut it. He's always looked like a less effective Jenas to me I'm afraid.

Is too soon for KPB. Let's give him a bit of a go first, I say. He falls in the same category as Kaboul, for me. Brought in as one for the future, yet circumstances conspired otherwise and we had no choice but to play in midfield. I think O'Hara's recall has moved him down the pecking order. But he'll definitely be around and play more of a part after a pre-season behind him.

I'm usually one for giving players (especially young ones) time to develop, but he is awful at everything, and in every department.

Stick him in with the academy, because he's incapable of the basic skills that makeup the game.

I reckon he's just not rated enough for a first team squad yet. Seen nothing on injury front.

I think he'll make the bench when the bench is longer next season. Problem is I haven't figured out what he brings to the table and I'm not sure Ramos thinks he's worth a spot ahead of what we've got.

Hopefully he'll get some chances soon enough as he must be short on matchplay and he's barely had a chance since he arrived.

He's suffered from the emergence of O'Hara. I really don't know what Ramos will do with him, have a sneaky feeling he maybe sold though.

it is way to soon the judge KPB but for some its not he has played only a handful of games for us and he is young so hopefully next season he can play a bigger part in the team its the same for kaboul also,

Not sure how you can say that when he has nt been given a run in the team to prove himself.

It's just my opinion from what we have seen of him so far, which is all any of us have to go on. I don't claim it to be the gospel truth.

We have quite a few potentially good young midfielders who many people would like to see get a run in the first team, but they can't all get that.

I believe Ramos and Comolli will get in a couple of new midfielders in the summer and KPB will be sold - Huddlestone and O'Hara have both looked more promising in the games they have had and Ramos sees them everyday in training and has consistently chosen the English lads ahead of Boateng of late.

No i totally agree mate. From what i have seen i have nt been to impressed with him but he is still young. Not sure about O'Hara yet either.

Maybe next season KPB will get a chance when Zokora is sold in the summer

Maybe, but if Zokora is sold, it will be because we have bought someone better, which doesn't help Boateng.

O'Hara has impressed me with his temperament and his ability to come off the bench and get stuck in wherever he's asked to play and I'd much rather we put effort into developing him than KPB, who has looked a bit of a petulant knob when he's come on.

I've not seen anything to suggest he's better than O'Hara really. Infact I've not seen anything to suggest that he's better than Dean Marney.
