Although a regular on here I do not post much but thought I'd share my experiences over the last 2-3 days with you all....

Back from Prague last night and happened to stay in the same hotel as the team. I had pics taken with the players aswell as having my spurs shirt signed. It was a quality time and interesting to see how many backroom staff the club employ. Some of the guys were very friendly whilst others kept themselves to themselves. Gus was certainly the one that stood out, great character, the highlight was when he was doing his stretches in the lobby while waiting for the boys to come down from their rooms - the man can not keep still for any length of time!!

Damian Comolli was also there in great presence, he was the man in charge, in deep conversation with Juande a couple of times. Very friendly man who took time to talk and said more than he needed to - also wishing me a good morning when he saw me in the lobby yesterday!!

Had my pic taken first with Teemu and then Rocha, spotted Berba across the lobby and said to Rocha he doesn't look to happy, wonder if he'll be happy to take a pic. Rocha of course just yelled out to Berba and beckoned him over to have a pic taken with me, Rocha being the cameraman. What a legend!

Overall a great few days!!

That's it for photos with the players...I had the shirt signed the next morning before they left for the airport.

Great stuff, can we see the pics?

I said hi to Commolli at City Airport over Christmas, he seemed a nice enough bloke. Nice to see Rocha in good spirits despite never getting first-team action!

The friendliness rubs off from the front office. It's always the situation. If the top guys are friendly, as obviously is the case, the players would most likely be friendly as well.

Which hotel were you in Hak?

I was on the same flight back as David Pleat but that doesn't compare.

What hotel was it ?

Last years game I stayed in the Savoy and was bumped up to the presidential suite - whilst Chris Coleman was getting irate about them not finding his booking. I posted the story on here.

About 10 years ago I stayed in the same hotel as the Barcelona team. In Cheshire. Me being only 7, I didn't quite appreciate how cool this was, or how famous some of the players were, so I just went over and started talking to some of them. If I remember correctly they were playing Derby in a pre-season friendly (this was when Derby weren't Conference standard), and I then kinda ignored one of their players and instead demanded to see Hristo Stoichkov because he was the only player I knew, due to him being immense on FIFA 96! Good times.

Nice pics. Its good for the players to take time and show appreciation for the fans who travelled.
