Him and Özil are the two that fit the description of jaw dropping and would be around the £45m price range. Will believe it when I see it though.

My twitter has blown up saying Arsenal have stepped closer to signing Ozil, and are now running after Mata. Doubt Mata is true, but the Ozil link could have legs :O

AVB is a quiet and honest man, I think. Redknapp is honest, but likes to talk. Mourinho likes to talk, play mind games and often tries to maipulate (I think he is disgusting).. I don`t consider him as normal, decent or honest compared to other managers. So, when he says that Mata is not for sale, is that really true, you think? Would Chelsea be willing to sell him to us, and would Mata himself be willing to play for us?

Okay. We don`t play in CL this season, but there is a big chance that we will next season. Especially with him. It could be a good carreer move for him. I guess he maybe likes AVB too!?

Mata would be good. Ösil too. But I guess Hulk is the person who is most likely to come tomorrow?

Mata would be the best signing of the window for us, by some margin.

Can't see it happening, but my god he is exactly what we need

Hopefully Eriksen is the new Mata (where is the 'pray' smilie when you need it!)

SSN guy at Chelsea says there could be a twist for Mata. Probably just drumming up interest, so who knows.

I've got a huge stomach ache and not butterflies for a big signing..

But I'm still hopeful.

guess we'll find out soon...i just know that all these big names will always choose the scum before us (CL). all in all we should be happy with our window, it's been amazing really, but i still feel the scum is only a major signing away from being a very good side (they're also more settled wich is an obvious advantage)

True about them being settled. But given time we'll be settled. With or without a signing today. We usually pick up after the international break after the window. So 6 from 9 is a good start with an as yet unsettled group.

Just can't see it being Ozil, even less so Mata.

Hulk is the most obvious giving the link with AVB. If you hear hooves don't expect zebras.

If we are serious about signing Mata and assuming we made a bid that would exceed a release clause, could the Chavs still refuse to sell to us?

Surely if he has a release clause and we meet/exceed it then he has to be allowed to talk to us.
