Any reason why people arent sold on him/wouldnt want him?

It would be interesting to hear how much you have watched him and what you think his weaknesses are.

Much more talented than Gil in my opinion and given our stretched squad state I’d jump at a loan.

A winger that can take on the FB from the outside I'd fast becoming a huge priority.

Can't say I've watched this chap too much so no idea. From the highlights looks good but the only thing that sticks with me is he reminds me of Ravishing Rick Rude from the old WWF

Would be an upgrade on every winger we currently have imo, he’s absolutely class and would offer us something different.

However I’d prefer we prioritised a striker in Jan and then move for Jota in summer.

Would make absolute sense for us to get him on loan right on January 1st. Seems Son will actually leave for the SK team on December 31st, so we'll need an option for the LW position.

Possibly, but Solomon will be available for the Burnley game.

I watched three Celtic matches after Ange was linked with us. Jota stood out to me more than anyone on the pitch.

I have a Celtic supporting mate who has an 11 year old son that used to cry tears of joy any time Jota was on the ball.

Make of that what you will.

Not too excited by a guy who chose the Saudi League at 24 years of age.

That said, Levy does not have a habit of making early January signings and with Son, Solomon and Perisic unavailable, I would be okay with a loan if we can do it early enough.

He is so mid... If we do in fact sign him I don't think he has the capabilities to be anything more than a squad player.

I say this as someone who has watched him multiple times live on Benfica B games. Although I didn't see much of his stint at Celtic, I just think he's a player that performed good on Ange's system; but as an individual I really don't see him making it in the prem.

I'm still fully convinced the Saudis bought him thinking they were getting Diogo Jota lol

You may well be right but in fairness, the last time he played for Benfica B was 2018/2019? Even his last appearances for Benfica first team were in 19/20. That's 4 seasons ago when he was 20 years old.

Is it not possible he has developed significantly since then?
