Where is all this Joe Lewis stuff coming from? I thought we operated independently so all contracts were based on our income, not the sugar daddy say so

He will most likely sign a new deal, but 'Football Insider' make up this kind of stuff all the time.

Probably BS from Football Insider. Still, Levy and co had been pumping money into the transfer market the like of which hadn't been seen in years. If they had done so a year earlier, Poch may still be here. Life moves in unpredictable ways, however.

While Sonny certainly deserves a "mega" contract, I'm pretty sure that uncle Joe has fuck all to do with it. He leaves all of that shit down to Daniel and always has done.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

I can't wait to see what mega deal Joe authorises next.

Do you folks think Son will accept the bumper deal and extend his contract and commit to Spurs long term?

He is on his way to becoming a star player, and big bucks would soon come his way.

He is a world class superstar and deserves a new contract, but where this money is coming from is anyone's guess.
And it is not a bad guess that Joe Lewis is likely to have to bail us out next season if fans are still banned from the stadium. It follows he would closely monitor any extra expenditure.

He’s also happy. That’s got to account for something right? Who intheir right mind trades happiness for money. Especially when he has a great chance of winning something with Spurs in the coming years.

;) I can't tell if you are being genuine here, but I'm inclined to agree.
