Interesting stuff. Good to know he really wants to play and be consistent. Scary stuff about all the pain he went through to keep going....

Explains a lot. And hopefully sets some of his detractors (including me ) right.

This was a big feature in the Standard today. nice to hear that he worked hard over pre-season.

Again, I dont understand why players play with injuries so much. Surely it does more harm than good. You cant perform to your best, but the fans dont know you are carrying a knock, so jump on your back, and a lot of the time you end having to take months off to get it sorted.

It will be interesting to see how he does on wednesday

Shame, would have been nice to welcome him back to the lane on the 2nd November playing for Inter. I think it would have been the best for both parties if he signed for them. But whilst he's still here, he'll get my 110% support.

Dunno what's funnier: that Jenas' dad's name is Dennis Genus, or him changing it to Jenas by deed poll as his initials sounded cooler as DJ

So as to not miss semina games in their careers (Martin O'Neill before a European Cup final, for instance - just that Cloughie was man enough to not accept it)
Because sometimes when another player comes in because someone is injured they see it as an opportunity (cf Gareth Bale, for instance), and once that happens a player could be waiting months or years, or even could be sold, before getting an opportunity again:shrug:

I agree with you, by the by, but the pressures ARE massive.
