We're massive.

First Romero and now potentially taking one of their best youth prospects.

Viva Nuno Ball ?

Don't know how much game time he'll get and tbh I'd still like to see us add a creative midfielder capable of starting and a strong RB so there is much still to do.

BUT I must say our strategy with Gil, Sarr and potentially Moriba this summer has been smart. Compared to the rest of Europe we presumably have liquidity so we've just gone around signing the best young talent for really decent fees. All we need is for one of them to progress into a top player and we'll have made our money back on all three.

Moriba would surely be the creative CM, no? I have a hard time seeing us signing both Sarr and Moriba, not to mention Bryan who was brilliant in CM tonight, and also going after another.

Reminds me of when Frank Arnesen came in. It really helped us go up a level. For whatever reason we lost our way on that front.

It is a benefit of having a DoF. It does get a bit scattergun but the breakthrough stars make it worthwhile. Even Comolli got us some real quality.

It seems we've decided to use this window to pick up some highly rated talents at decent prices. Could really pay dividends in the future.

Has anyone actually seen this guy play a live match? Watched a few YouTube highlight vids, and have to admit he doesn't look amazing.

I don’t mind missing out on aouer for him one bit, the potential is oozing out of him. If we already kind of calling this year a bedding in/lost year I don’t mind getting the youth playing together and hopefully they can all take that step together. It also kind of feels like are spending Kanes money from next year which i don’t mind
