I think it's only fair to say that nickname has now been passed to Arsenal, who should now be referred to as 'Arsey' (y)

As per a recent Eric Dier interview, no matter what happened today, as soon as we have a blip in future the term will still be used.
All I can say is, if Arsenal bottling it and us finishing in the CL is Spursy (while United finished 6th and the Spammers in their best season in living memory 7th) then I’ll take it all day long!

Well all the other occasions haven't so I doubt it
I overheard someone last night saying we could do a Spurs today. As if we are the only ones who slip up in football.

Spursy needs to die already.
It really does.

I cringed when Jeff Stelling used it before hand - one thing having knob head fans using it on social media but another when presenters/pundits use it which is just a cheap unimaginative throwaway comment from people who really should know better.

I actually saw a comment earlier with a wet spam fan saying they didnt deserve Europa League as they couldnt beat Brighton.
brighton have had their best ever premier league season and many struggled to beat them. The sense of entitlement is ridiculous

First season under Mou was pretty good, after the shit-show he inherited.
It really wasn’t. The first season we failed to win 60 points since Juande Ramos ‘2 points in 8 games.’ It was awful. Even the AVB/Sherwood season was better, to the tune of 10 points.

Spursy needs to die already.
The only reason it hasn't died yet is cos it's so damn catchy.

Adding a 'y' onto almost any other club's name sounds shit whereas it works perfect with Spurs.

...and that in itself is kind of Spursy.
