Huttons advice to Eduardo

Tottenham defender Alan Hutton today warned Eduardo it could take two years before he is back to playing his best after breaking his leg.

Hutton knows what the Arsenal striker is going through, having fractured his right leg in two places while playing for Rangers against Kilmarnock in 2005.
Eduardo, who also dislocated his ankle when he suffered the horrific injury at Birmingham last week, has been told he could be playing again within nine months.

But Hutton said: "I was out for a year and then it was another half a year before I was back playing. It was hard for me and people didn't realise how serious my injury was
"I still have a screw and an iron rod in my leg now. It was tough for me and it wasn't really feeling right, even when I was back training.

"It took a season for me to return to the level I could play — and I had been out for a year to begin with. Seeing what happened to Eduardo brought it all back. I watched what happened to him on the highlights and I was cringing.
"I know what he is going through and it will take him a long time to get back." But Hutton hopes his comeback will give the striker hope. He added: "It helped me to know other players had gone through what I had and had made a full recovery."

Good old Hutton embracing the cockeral on his shirt.

Reading between the lines: "Eduardo: it's gonna take you a bloody long time. Gutted".

Just me that thought that?

Ashton is getting so much stick from WHU fans at the mo, being a tart and wimping out of tackles because hes scared of getting injured again.

Plus he's still a big fat fuck.

I broke my ankle and tore ligaments playing football 12 years ago. I have two screws in it still. It took me 8 months to play again, and probably 18 before I regained anything like proper "confidence" in it (ie before it started to feel anything like it used to). Eventually it felt strong as ever, but it really did take a long while.
