I agree with most of this, but I don't see how:

a. De Gea is the best GK in the world (what about Manuel Neuer and ter Stegen?).
b. De Gea is clearly better than Lloris (he might be better in all honesty, but personally I don't see anything clear about it).
a) I said arguably

b) And he is better than Lloris, he's been more consistent than him over the years they've both been in the league.

As much as would like to sit around and watch football all day I don’t have that much time to scout goalkeepers.
I don’t need to give you or anyone else a list of keepers better than Lloris all I’m saying is Lloris has not performed consistently good enough for the last 2 years imo
As I said I don’t really watch anything but English football so I wouldn’t know the top keepers aboard.
Scmicheal heaton foster has all been better than Hugo this season imo. Not to mention the keepers out of our league Allison,de gea ,Edison
You say you know nothing about keepers and yet know enough to say Lloris isn't good enough...:oldman:

Edit. Those who disagree have a look at the keeper stats for this season
Keeper stats (in particular) are misleading because they often come without context. 2 keepers could both face 10 shots, the first keeper faces his 10 and they are straight down his throat or shoulder height either side. The second keeper steps up and all 10 are buried bottom corner leaving no chance to save it. You often find that keepers lower down the league will have favourable stats compared to those in the top 6.

Stats also don't take into account the ability to organise and communicate.

Want to know one sure fires way to judge a keeper? Watching him.

If you think Foster, Schemical or Heaton are better than Hugo you clearly have zero idea about goalkeeping.

I didn’t say that at all.
I said I don’t watch football outside of the premiership nowadays,so I wouldn’t be able to give 10 or so names of who to replace Lloris with.
You don’t really need to be a goalie expert to see Lloris has made a fair amount of mistakes the last 2 seasons.

Are you kidding me, do you read what you write?

Hence that's not all what you said.

I’ve only said Lloris has not been good enough in the last 2 years where have I said any different?
You have quoted me twice saying basically the same thing.
You need to lay off the crack pipe

Ha I quoted the wrong part sorry :D.

But the whole point of this debate is because you said that we should be able to get a more consistent keeper in a couple of pages back, this is what you've been challenged on is it not?

Earlier you tried to imply that all you said is that he's not consistent enough when in truth you said that he ought to be getting a better keeper that was my point.

Yeah I want us to get a better more consistent keeper or ideally Lloris gets his 2016 form back

a. Ah, okay. But then, one could also say that Lloris is arguiably the best goal keeper in the world and there would be nothing wrong about it, right?

b. Consistent in which ways? And how one can even rate consistency in an objective and accurate way so it can be used to decide which is the best keeper?

Brah I literally don't care lol can't be asked to get into another debate about Lloris, agree to disagree or whatever.
