Is anyone else starting to question whether he's as good as others think?

Yes he makes some eye candy saves. Sometimes.
But he's getting beaten regularly and by, in my opinion, some seriously tame shots.

In my opinion, he should have done better with two yesterday. Suarez and Coutinho.
Southampton's first was a daisy cutter.
There's been other times where he's either not made a generally routine save, out a rash decision has seen him embarrassed.

I'm not gonna ignore it, I'm starting to wonder if a good bid should be welcomed in the summer.

Yep, for a keeper he isn't too tall, but he has unreal agility and speed.

I'd be surprised if we kept him though, he's top class.

He is a top class goalie, the best we have had in years and still has his best years in front of him. It's not his fault he has be exposed to often by terrible defending!

Don't think you can blame the keeper with the shit in front of him.
He is one player we should try and hold on to at all costs, he's young and very talented. Would be gutted if he went for any price. We cannot keep selling quality players and then wondering why we are not very good.

Coutinho possibly, maybe was unsighted. The Suarez goal and the Southampton ones were well place just inside the post though.

I actually think he has toned down his rushing out since that knock in the Everton game, which I don't agree with. What made him unique and so impressive to me was that he snuffed out so much danger higher up the pitch so that we weren't in positions where he needed to make saves. His shot stopping is sharp but that's not his biggest asset really, its his rushing out, anticipation and reading of the game which he does better than virtually anyone else. He seems to pick and choose his moments more now though.

Class act though, we are lucky to have him.

Sometimes a keeper can't reach the ball no matter how slow it's seemingly going.

I do have a problem with his distribution though. He made a great save from that Suarez header but only after floating the ball out to the left to players that were under far more pressure than he was.

His distribution and kicking sucks ass big time.

And sometimes his decisions are very difficult to understand, he's got off a red at least twice, sorry i don't have the memory for games some people on here do, i don't remember which games but there are at least 2 cases this year that i remember when he shoiuld have got a stone cold straight up red, but got lucky.

But he is a good goalie. Best we could possibly hope for. With flaws.

He is simply amazing. We would be 12points worse off IMO without him. So many of his rash moments have come due to our awful implementation of the high line.

Superb GK

Not sure we'll be able to hold onto him in the Summer, and I wouldn't blame him for wanting to move on either after this disastrous season.

Our defense is probably the most unsettled back4 in the PL, any goalie would suffer behind that.

I think his game suffered for a while after being knocked loopy by Lukaku, but as mentioned earlier in the thread, he's really been the least of our problems this season.
