Anyone have any idea how many loyalty points will be required for champions league away matches?

Good question, I've just short of 300 but not sure if I will be able to get tickets or not? Anyone have any ideas?

depedns on allocation and demand obviously. they get all the applications in, then sort them by average number of loyalty poitns per application (i say average number because you can apply in groups and they take the average between the individuals) and then mark the cut off point as the allocation.

that basically means you can't know until the application closing date. A very approximate number may be given, but not guarantees. I reckon 200ish for season ticket holder bare minimum.

I'm pretty sure (99.9%) that they don't use the 'average number' system anymore. They now work it on an individual basis and only give tickets to those within the group application with the sufficient amount to meet the cut off point, the others simply don't get them.

This is a much better system, as it means you can still apply as a group, with people with far less points than yourself and not worry about not getting tickets due to the average.

Until they announced the change I had no idea they had that system. That system meant that some people could get tickets even though they didn't have enough points just by applying with their mates

The new system, puts kids at a disadvantage as they cant go to mid-week fixtures because of school,so they miss out on LPs.
The change last seson meant my son, could get a Arsenal ticket because he didnt have enough LPs,with our combined total he would have!
I spoke to P Barber about this and he could see my point,i now get round this by using a friends voucher instead for away tickets for big games.

But on the other hand when it was done by average you could get people with say 20 loyalty points getting tickets for big games just because they went with someone with over 300... I only just had enough points for the Chelsea LC Final, but I'd have been highly pissed off if it'd been done on average and I'd just missed out...
