How do you think Glenn Hoddle would go as DOF at Spurs?

Been checking the ongoing manager odds for Spurs. AVB is clear favourite, still. However, a bit down the list is Hoddle's name. I had the thought that while Levy might not want Hoddle as day to day coach he might give him a run as DOF. It appears that Hoddle does / has done a lot of work with developing players in his academy and would not seem a bad judge. What do people think? Would it be too much of a potential clash?.... It looks like someone will become DOF for us...why not Glenn Hoddle?

I don't think we'll have a Director of Football in charge of transfers and I can't see Hoddle being a technical director working alongside AVB considering that he'd probably be interested in the job and would likely be too big of a personality clash. Shame we can't shove Hoddle the player into a time machine and bring him into the 21st century to play in our midfield though.

If we could keep him away from the first team perhaps he would add value but I suspect he would try to interfere too much. So not a good idea and I doubt DL would ever consider it.
