Obviously don’t love the age part, but I’d switch him in for Aurier in a heartbeat and we might even make a few bucks out of that.

This guy isn’t going to fall asleep on his watch and is going to give 100% every time out. I like his size/power too and he’s not afraid to take on a defender to the touch line going forward.

Looks pretty solid. Stands his ground in tussles with Sadio Mane in a couple of clips too which is encouraging.
There are A LOT of tackles where he goes to ground in that video. A few of the challenges could potentially be given as fouls in the PL and I'd be worried about players waiting for him to commit like that to win FKs and Pens.

He definitely has qualities - combative, strong, seems to read the game well, can play on either side of the back line, good engine and so on, plus I was impressed by him at the World Cup now that I think back - but I feel like he'd be a back-up rather than a first choice which may not appeal to him at his age.

Having said all that, I wouldn't be upset if he signed for a reasonable fee.
