A strange title for a thread in Spurs Chat you may think.

But, recently, Calum Butcher joined in the Autumn to make it four players from the group that played regularly in the successful 2008-09 Academy team now at the club, the others being Sam Cox, Josh Ekim and Kudus Oyenuga.

Hayes and Yeading are currently 8th in the Conference South.

Ex-Spur appearances:
Butcher - played 19, 2 goals
Cox - played 25, 1 goal
Ekim - played 13, 2 goals
Oyneuga - played 27, 2 goals

My local team. Their new stadium on Beaconsfield Road will be a 15 min walk away for me or a 2-3 min drive.....

Ah, so his wikipedia page isn't correct?
It says 12 goals in 21 games, hoped he was ripping their league apart

edit - profile on their website do actually state 12 goals, club top scorer

19 year old Walthamstow born striker who joined Hayes & Yeading United in the summer of 2012 upon his release from Premier League Tottenham Hotspur.

While not making a first team appearance for Spurs, he was loaned out for experience and played for MyPa in Finland, Bury and St Johnstone in Scotland.

Very skilful striker who has already started finding the net for United having made a scoring debut for United at Weston-super-Mare and is currently top scorer with 12 goals.

Season 2012 -13
Starting Appearances.... Substitute Appearances..... Goals
........24........................... 3........................ 12

Btw he also plays with Pele at H & Y

Always thought that Callum Butcher was a decent CB and would progress as his CB partner Steven Caulker has - and that Kudos Oyenuga would also progress playing alongside Harry Kane. Maybe their partners made them look better than they were.

If anyone wants to follow a proper non league team in the North West London area then you should come and support the mighty Wealdstone!!

He had 2 in Hayes & 1 in Greenford. I bought my first ever Spurs kit from his Greenford shop back in 85...

Perryman sports IIRC - mum bought me a yellow arsenal shirt there when I was 6 yrs old for under a £1 as it had three cigarette burns in it. Never wore once!

I used to go watch Hayes when Ferdinand was tearing it up there and Impey was quality for yeading. I also used to live opposite the Hayes chairman Derek Goodall - always made me laugh that Champ Manager used to describe him as a poor businessman.

I also remember that the Hayes directors spent a lot of the Jason Roberts money on a big piss up as they thought he was shocking and couldn't wait to see the back of him.

Ferdinand was bought from Southall Football Club. I watched Ferdinand play in the 86 Vase Cup Final for Southall against Halesowen Town, we got hammered 3-0. He was sold soon after.....

I went and watched my pal Shabazz play a couple of reserve games for them, ex QPR

Baidoooooo! Yeah he was mates with one of our midfield maestros apparently who persuaded him to give football a go again. Didn't he fall out of love with the game after QPR and become a car salesman?? Anyway, he started the season well but lost form and was released about a month ago. I quite liked him but he did seem to lose interest again after a month or so. He missed a sitter against Barrow in the Trophy in October and the writing was on the wall after that.

We get a lot of loanees from bigger clubs and were the first clubs for Stuart Pearce, Vinnie Jones and Jermaine Beckford to name just 3.
