If the team includes Kane, Bentaleb, Mason, Dier, Eriksen, not to mention Walker, Rose or Davies, possibly Townsend and/or Lamela, i will feel immensely confident, AND PROUD, that, whatever the result, this team is moving forward, as a team, and with incredible potential. F*ck chelsea and f*uck all those mongers on the transfer threads who want to buy this or that foreign import, with a fancy name, who is, you know, so f*ucking brilliant, plays for Brazil, or top scorer in Spain, or captain of east European team, or French player of the year, or played for South American team when he was 17, or well yes of course juju wll affect him, have you seen the you tube clips, be perfect for us, blah blah blah. Whatever happens Sunday we are going forward. Do I feel nervous, no I dont and neither will our young players. WE WILL WIN.

Really nervous as I feel the next 2 games are huge.

My hope this year was always for cup success. Beat Fiorentina in Italy and we could just do it.

Chelsea is big as we are desperate for silverware. I'm not confident for the game but know we have a chance.

We will be the underdogs for both games now, going away with letting in an away goal and scores tied, and of course Chelsea will be favourites to wi, so no nerves just now as not expecting Much

I'm really feeling the nerves today and it's only gonna get worse as the week goes on! I must confess, though I would like to progress in the Europa League, there is still a lot of games to play and there are still a lot of decent sides in it, so I'd rather we went all out in a one off game at Wembley with a cup at stake.

I have moments where I fear a hiding, maybe 3 or 4-1. But, then I change my tune and think "nah f**k 'em! We're gonna win this!!" I'll be a wreck during the game on Sunday. Though the beers and songs before the game I cannot wait for!

Yep this is my feeling at the moment, particularly for the cup final.

Theoretically Chelsea should smash us. Infinite resources and a fantastic squad against a very young team still finding its way under a new manager.

We really don't have anything to lose and hopefully that will play into our hands.

I just hope we're able to perform as well as we can with the stupid fixture list as it is, but other than that I think we should just go to Wembley and properly stick one on the pikey bastards.

The in laws are coming over for lunch on Sunday so I've already told the Mrs that they're getting thrown out at 3:30! (y)

My father in law has absolutely no interest in football but has a habit of sitting in the room when I'm watching and trying to talk to me. Sometimes about the game.

I know he's only doing it to be friendly but the questions are always so obvious!

I will be bricking it on Sunday, but given that I've just had spinal surgery I've got lots of morphine. That helps!!

I haven't really got any expectations so I have no nerves. Even if we lose both games I still feel we're on the right track.

My main nerves are about where to stand in the pub to watch it.

I suspect I'll watch the first half of the egg-chasing (which I think kicks off at 3) but then I've got to make sure I'm in a reasonable place to switch my viewing to the cup final at 4.

I might have to go to the pub every night this week just to make sure I get my routine sorted.

I won't feel really nervous till Saturday evening, I probably won't sleep well and Sunday I'll be a bag of nerves.
The worst bit is we are driving down to Wembley together and on the way home one of us will be miserable. So far we are 1-1 as I was happy in 2008 and he was happy after the FAC SF.

Wasn't too bad until I started reading through this thread...

I have a strange feeling we might just do it on Sunday. When I think about it I get a nervous butterfly feeling, all down my arms and in my fingers (hopefully not having a stroke!).

My Chelsea supporting mate said the fact that they haven't played for over a week might just work in our favour in that they usually take half an hour to get going when they've had no match time. If this is true then we should be all them for the first 20 minutes and try and get a couple of goals early on.

I'm nervous at the moment, mixed with excitement

When the games kicks off though, I'll be fine, as long as my pre-match rituals don't get disturbed.

If all is going well, 5 mins to go, I'll be pacing around somewhere in the depths of Wembley...that's the worst time for me.

I'm not nervous as I don't think we'll win either game. But that might just be me protecting my heart by being a cynic

More excited than anything. Come 30 mins before KO, I'm sure I'll start breathing a little heavier... and come the final 20 mins I'm fully expecting my nerves to be shot and be reduced to the usual quivering wreck.

I genuinely had to leave the room for the last 5 mins of the 2008 final, I was a mess.

Every now and then I remember about it and get butterflies.
I mean, this time on Sunday, I will be at Wembley. And it will be half time. OF A CUP FINAL.

Really want a good result tomorrow night as a morale-booster (both for the team and for me!). Resolute defensive performance and well-worked goal on the counter a-la AC Milan away would do nicely.

COYS!

I would love to have that option, but every tv in every pub will have the rugby on. Try telling drunk Irishmen that the Spurs game is more important.

I got the in laws around as well but my wife has stupidly invited them round at 3. They have all been made aware that I shall not be talking to anyone or paying attention to anyone but the game. Father in law gets it but mother in law thinks I'm joking
