Has Levy done it again?

I'm infuriated with todays result but completely expected this. I was in a bad mood anyway after being stuck in traffic all day but that result really has added to my misery.

I don't blame AVB, I don't even really blame the players because most of them are playing a lot of football at the moment. The reason for our downfall is our lack of class outside of our first 11. First team 11 fit and healthy then were always in with a chance...but as soon as we play more games and 1 or 2 players get a knock its a pub team showing.

If this downfall continues I really want Levy to come out and make an apology to us all for continually being a risk adverse fanny and costing us CL again. It's not even the not buying strikers that gets to me...it's the loaning out of players that could help us at times like this I.e. Townsend who would offer an actual like-for-like alternate to lennon when his out - alllowing us to keep our natural width and speed on the break.

I really feel for AVB because I look at our bench and think meh - no game changers, no proper proper talent, no excitement to make things happen with the ball.

Us not making CL has such massive consequences on the marketing and sponsorship front aswell. The stadium thing will drag on until Levy cheapily jams CL for a season.

I don't think Levy is purposely doing this - but if we fail his done it again and should reconsider his position. For all of his good points he has to be judged on our results - so fingers crossed its CL this year or he should hand in his own P45.

Levy did not choose to play a geriatric goalkeeper behind a high line on Thursday. We were just fine up until this time last week, and would have been fine today were it not for AVB's stupidity forcing us to play 120 minutes, meaning many of our most important players were either exhausted or unavailable (Lennon) today.

Whoever decided to loan out Townsend and Falque has fucked us today, be it Levy or AVB.

Not signing a new striker was an absolute clusterfuck of a decision.

Eurgh. I'm too disappointed to even rant. :arghh:

Sounds about right.

Well I really don't understand why we're spending lots of money on average players like Dempsey and Sigurdsson instead of buying one above average player. Can't believe we paid more for Dempsey than Fulham did for Berbatov. What a joke.

I've said all season we lack creativity. The only outlet we have is individual brilliance by Bale or the combination of pace between Lennon and Bale on the counter. It's not very creative though. We need our own Cazorla, Mata etc.

In addition to a striker who can hit a barn door from 5 yards.

Totally agree. We don't have many players out injured at the moment, but one look at the subs today tells you everything about our lack of depth. It killed us last season and it's going to kill us again. The failure to buy a striker and the loaning out of players who could have benefited us is inexcusable. Very unhappy that Levy seems to be completely unable or unwilling to learn from his mistakes.

Our strikers haven't scored since Boxing day, of course Levy fucked up by weakening the squad in January. It will cost us CL again just like last season.

It was a bad result against Fulham and we have form during this part of the season in tailing off and drop like a stone, however people should hold fire, blaming AVB-now hearing on the radio he dosent have a clue bla bla bla, reading posts about Levy not spending money bla bla bla the season not over yet.

These three defeats Liverpool Inter Milan Fulham hopefully will be a wake up call.

Or selling Pienaar for peanuts, or selling VDV. Pienaar was the perfect player to have as back up on either wing.
